A shocking incident was reported from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia, where a massive black bear stormed into a parking lot and attacked people present there.
According to reports, an 84-year-old woman died after suffering multiple injuries in the deadly attack. A 12-year-old boy narrowly escaped by quickly getting into his car and shutting the door just as the bear approached. Another commuter managed to ram his vehicle and drive away to safety.
CCTV footage from the parking lot shows the bear suddenly charging at the boy, who survived by playing dead before securing himself inside the car. The animal then turned toward others in the area before targeting the elderly woman.
Authorities confirmed that the bear was later shot near a local school to prevent further attacks.
