00:27that was reported this morning on a cargo ship that was loaded with rice and sugar

00:31at Porbandar Subhashnagar jetty the vessel called Hari Dasran belonging to a Jamnagar based HRM and

00:40Sons was bound for Somalia's Bosaso port where it was carrying nearly 950 tons of rice and 100

00:47tons of sugar and this place was so intense that the ship had to be towed first a kilometer away

00:53from the jetty and then nearly 100 kilometers out to the sea three fire engines a hydrogen system and

01:00the Coast Guard are set to be deployed in the operation to douse the flames but with rice sugar

01:06and diesel on board the flames continue to rage on we believe that the fire is still blazing

01:17can be seen all over the water in Porbandar fire as the teams also continue to remain on standby

01:23well yes this is a massive fire that has broken out onto this cargo ship which was carrying a huge

01:31amount of rice and sugar onto its board but they're picking up through our sources is that the fire is

01:38now under control which was a massive development as the Coast Guard and fire brigades including the port

01:46authorities were trying to fight out the fire now what we're also picking up is that no casualty has

01:53been reported as of now however the battle that is currently being fought is trying to understand

01:59what exactly led to this massive fire as you can see the dark and dense fume coming out of this ship

02:05which was about to board from Porbandar uh towards Somalia uh however it was uh it met with an

02:13unfortunate uh incident of uh fire that is being reported now officials are carrying out survey if

02:19there is any presence of the staff members onto the ship or not and uh later on the specific detail of

02:25any casualty or the cause of fire will be given out by the officials right so we are looking at a portion

02:31of the vessel and release that actually caught fire of course it is too early to say uh what was the

02:36reason behind the fire and how many people were said to be on board the vessel well yes uh what we're

02:43learning as of now is that it was a cargo ship carrying rice and sugar and along with uh diesels uh which

02:50ultimately intensified uh the fire or the fumes uh however uh the point of relief as of now is that no

02:58casualty is being officially uh uh informed or conveyed which means uh it is a good achievement

03:04being done by various departments who have ultimately uh controlled the fire and uh the

03:09major part is also that it has been towed out of the uh area where it was parked and it is currently in

03:15the middle of the sea uh so as to not affect the other uh port authorities or the uh equipments which

03:23are currently now being taken and according to uh nilish what we're getting the reports that the

03:28fire for now has been contained but there are multiple teams that continue to remain on standby

03:33to a certain the reason as to how the vessel caught fire in the first place thank you very much
