Gason engineering manager Patrick Ampt discusses their Diamond Series 3340 RT air seeder which was awarded the Australian Made Machine of The Year at Henty Machinery Field Days.

00:00Yes, hi, I'm Patrick Hampton from Gaisland and this is our new Diamond Series air seeder.

00:06It's 50% increase in capacity for us. It's up to 34,000 litres in total.

00:13It's an all stainless steel construction with the bins and the meter box.

00:18It's all Australia made at our facility in Ararat.

00:24We've implemented section control, eight sections up in dual chute configuration.

00:31We've got a new swing over doors at the top to keep everything out of the way of the auger.

00:42We've got a hydraulic control auger arm now, which makes it very easy for the user to load and also unload.

00:48You can unload the auger.

00:50We've prioritised making it as robust and as simple to use for the operator as possible.

00:57So all the section control is hydraulic. It defaults back to seating position if something goes wrong.

01:03So the harbour is confident he can get on with his job.
