00:00Hello there, good afternoon.
00:01It was a chilly start this morning, some mist and fog in places, though it's cleared away
00:05quite readily through the course of the morning, allowing plenty of sunny spells by the afternoon.
00:10Now, there could be more cloud across northern and central parts of England, a chance this
00:14could produce the odd light shower.
00:16You'll be very unlucky if you catch those though, they'll be fairly isolated and most
00:20areas will see a dry afternoon, quite breezy at times around coast of East Anglia, Sussex
00:25and Kent, but even here later into the afternoon those winds should ease away.
00:29It's around about average, pushing into 19 degrees Celsius across parts of the southeast
00:33around the mid-teens elsewhere.
00:36Remaining mostly dry as we head through into the evening, but once again there's going
00:40to be plenty of clear skies, so things are set to turn chilly, particularly across western
00:44areas.
00:45It's likely we'll see some rural frost by the time we reach towards dawn and similarly to
00:49last night we could see some mist and fog in places, particularly around any valleys, but
00:53more cloud pushing into parts of southeast England, so we're not getting quite as chilly
00:57here.
00:58Many towns and cities in the mid to high single figures, but likely dropping below freezing
01:02in rural spots in the west.
01:06So another chilly start, once again mist and fog clearing quite quickly through the course
01:09of the morning and it's set to be another dry, settled day.
01:13Blue skies for many areas, though sunshine turning a little hazier across western parts
01:17of Scotland, just with more cloud pushing through here, a little breezy here at times
01:21too.
01:22But otherwise, light winds, plenty of sunshine, fairly similar temperatures once again, perhaps
01:26just pushing into 20 degrees Celsius around the London area, but elsewhere the mid to
01:30high teens.
01:33Heading through into Friday, high pressure clings on, so dry settled once more, but heading
01:38into the weekend, low pressure just to the south of Iceland will drag in some rain and
01:42possibly some strong winds in from the west as we head towards the weekend.
01:46There is still some uncertainty, that's all thanks to this area of low pressure by this
01:50point ex-hurricane Gabrielle, so depending on whereabouts this sits will depend whereabouts
01:55we'll see the heaviest of rain, but it's likely western areas could see some wet weather over
01:59the weekend, but across the east and southeast, drier and brighter here.
02:03But if you want more information on that or the weather ahead, we can catch Alex Birkhill with
02:07the 10 Day Trend later on YouTube.
