Eyewitness footage captured the moment waves crashed through glass windows and doors of a hotel as Super Typhoon Ragasa lashed Hong Kong on Wednesday (Sept 24).

Local news reports said that staff at the seaside establishment in Aberdeen escaped serious injury.
