01:49It was like 2008 and I was shopping at this store called Tokyo 7 and it was playing this

02:12What does your creative process for a music video look like?
02:15Basically, when it comes to like the story, it needs to match the song, right?
02:20So when I'm making these songs, usually I already have the concept of videos of what I want to do.
02:25So I get a trustworthy counterpart or co-director to usually, you know, work with me on things like that.
02:32Me, myself, I write it, source it, scout it, direct it.
02:36I don't be lighting and all that.
02:37I'm going to be gassing it.
02:38But like when the cameras come on, I go crazy.
02:41What's the wildest interaction you ever had with a fan?
02:44Quite a few.
02:45Let me think about which one is more ill-appropriate.
02:48I remember I was performing on New Year's one day.
02:51I was in Australia and I just happened to look up while I'm on stage and it's this guy just like dangling from the rafter, from the, you know, from the top of the stage or whatever.
03:06I just stopped the show and I, you know, I just remember like praying to myself like, God, please don't let this dude fall.
03:13And next thing you know, he was holding on for a little bit.
03:16He just fell and dropped straight to the pit.
03:19I just jumped down to make sure he was good.
03:21And when I got there, I was like, yo, you good?

04:47But I also thought that it would be very relatable for somebody like me, you know, moving into parenthood and, you know, seeing what that's like and the similarities between other parents and shit like that.
04:57So I thought it was something that I wanted to pursue.
