00:00talked about great trust plan and it says that how there is a plan to actually let Palestinians
00:06who are there in Gaza to take, you know, hostage in neighboring Arab nations to go there to live
00:14there until the Gaza Strip redeveloped itself. Now, my question to you is that
00:22do you think that Arab nations first is going to accept it?
00:26Secondly, I want to know if this is going to be as per the wills of the Gazans or is it going to be
00:33something which we'll see forcefully happening? There is a rough hypocrisy here because in any
00:40conflict that we've seen in the last few decades refugees could flee to neighboring countries
00:46until peace is restored. We saw it in Ukraine, we saw it in Syria and we're seeing in other places.
00:54The Palestinians are the only ones that are not allowed to flee. And why is that? I think it's
01:00mainly for two reasons because the Arab countries are not sincere in trying to help their neighbors
01:07and to a certain extent they also are concerned because in the past different groups of Palestinians
01:14have, you know, creating chaos in countries like Jordan, like Lebanon, like Syria, like Kuwait, etc.
01:23So we have to deal with that ourselves. We are not going to forcefully
01:29exile people. We know that a very large amount of the population in Gaza would like to flee to a safe
01:37haven until the situation improves. And the question is whether we have vehicles to do that.
01:43This is something that we're contemplating. But at the end of the day, we know that the best way to
01:49serve the interests of our people and our neighbors is to get Hamas out of the Gaza Strip.
01:55Is it possible that some of the Gazans can be absorbed in Israel so that you can better deal
02:01with the situation in Gaza Strip? Well, we have been, you know, dealing with a lot of humanitarian
02:06cases throughout the years. We've been treating thousands of Gazans in hospitals. We've been employing
02:12Gazans in the past. Unfortunately, this was manipulated by Hamas. And we found ourselves,
02:18including on the 7th of October, with people that came to work in Israel. And they used that
02:24in order to draw the charts of attack and the plans of attack against Israel.
02:28So we are today much more cautious when it comes to hosting Palestinians as a result of that.
