00:00Police drug dog bust cocaine-possessing Louisiana middle school teacher.
00:05A math teacher was arrested at West Elm Middle School today in Baton Rouge.
00:09Officials say she was caught with cocaine during a random drug search.
00:13We're told a drug dog found a substance in a wallet belonging to Virginia Summers.
00:18According to sources, it was tested and confirmed to be cocaine.
00:22When searching Summers' car, officials say they found marijuana and pipes.
00:25It's only chalk dust, kid.
00:27She got a little too close when she was clapping the erasers.
00:30This is hilarious.
00:31It's not like last September when Shakita beat that principal's ass after dropping her coke in his office.
00:38This is in-house.
00:39This is staff.
00:40You can't have an employee walking around the school all skied up because why would she have the coke on her
00:46if she's not sneaking away to the teacher's lounge and doing a bump to smooth things out?
00:51A Louisiana middle school math teacher was arrested this week after a detection dog was bought into the school for a random drug search
01:00and officers allegedly found a baggie of cocaine inside her wallet.
01:05Virginia Summers was arrested at West Elm Middle School in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, according to WAFB.
01:12The drug-sniffing dog started reacting around Summers and indicated to its handler illegal narcotics were detected, according to the station.
01:21If you got popped during a random search, that tells me you keep coke on you all the time.
01:25Teacher loves to party.
01:27A little snow on the bluff.
01:28A little Curtis snow to deal with them damn kids.
01:31That coke stay in your purse rent-free next to the rosebud and the chewing gum.
01:35They could have conducted that search at any time and came up CeeLo.
01:38Summers 47 was searched, and the cocaine she was allegedly carrying was seized.
01:44Testing confirmed the substance in the baggie was cocaine.
01:47And Chi-Chi get the yayo, according to the report.
01:50Summers told cops the drugs were her friends, and she'd been asked to hold on to the baggie during a recent Louisiana State University football tailgate.
01:58Don't blame it on LSU.
01:59But cops then searched their car and allegedly found marijuana and some glass pipes.
02:05You know some teachers just have a cup of coffee before starting class.
02:08I don't know that many teachers that do a line of coke and a bong rip just to get ready to teach math to a bunch of middle school students.
02:15Summers, who was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, has been an educator for more than a decade.
02:21And now we know why.
02:22We know how she does it.
02:22Everyone always seems to have this irresponsible friend when they get caught with drugs.
02:27This imaginary irresponsible friend never leaves you with anything beneficial.
02:32They never leave you with a winning scratch-off.
02:34They never leave you with wooden stakes in case of vampires.
02:37They only leave you with dope.
02:39And it's only their dope when you get caught with it.
02:42They're never around when you get caught with the dope.
02:45It's like Superman.
02:46You never see them in the same place at the same time.
02:48During a random drug search conducted on campus, an employee was found to be in possession of illegal substances.
02:55The East Baton Rouge Parish Public School System said in a statement to WAFB.
02:59I know her eyes were as wide as saucers when that dog walked in.
03:03This matter is being handled in accordance with East Baton Rouge Parish School policy and procedures.
03:09That's a mouthful.
03:10Please be assured that this behavior is not condoned by our district.
03:14And we remain committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free environment for all students and staff.
03:20It was unclear if Summers, who could not immediately be reached for comment, what is she really going to say, would be returning to the school for work on Monday.
03:28Of course, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
03:30I'd love to hear your opinions on this.
03:32Let's be honest.
03:33Someone with a coke habit will lose their home.
03:36They'll lose their wife.
03:37They'll lose their mind.
03:38But they won't lose any cocaine.
03:40They won't lose any coke.
03:41And they definitely won't leave any behind.
03:44It's like Ohana with the coke.
03:45So if I don't believe you, then I know the cops were just being civil and letting you speak your piece before they lock your ass up.
03:52Because they don't believe you either.
03:53Because they don't believe you either.
