00:01Home field advantage would be one of the factors Central FC will be leaning on in their must-win clash against Jamaican club Mount Pleasant FC tomorrow.
00:09The Central Sharks, sitting in third, have to win to have any chance of reaching the semifinals.
00:15And coach Julius Edwards laid out the key factors to his game plan.
00:19We have to be disciplined. We have to be focused. We have to know when to pick our moments correctly.
00:24We have to know if it's not on, keep the ball, because the team that possesses the ball controls the game.
00:30So we know that discipline is the key factor for tomorrow. Everybody must play for each other.
00:35Communication is the key. And when we get our chances, we have to put them away to keep the pressure on Mount Pleasant,
00:42because we know they are attacking-minded. So we're in compacting and keeping our shape.
00:47When the opportunities are right, we have to score and capitalize on the opportunities.
00:54And Cidale McLean also pointed out a likely chink in the Mount Pleasant armour.
00:58We have a positive mindset going into this game, especially obtaining the three points from MoCA FC last game.
01:05So you know we are very confident going into this game. Also we know that Mount Pleasant is a very pacey team,
01:10but we know that they also lost three important players. So that we are going into this game very confident as well,
01:17knowing that we are home and that we have to obtain these three points.
01:20Mount Pleasant come into this match on six points and know only a point could see them through to the semis.
01:26Yet head coach Teodoro Whitmore is not taking anything for granted.
01:30Well, I think it's a good team. We always respect our opponent. It's like Jamaica, Trinidad,
01:40so you always know that battle between the two countries.
01:44So again, we expect a tough game, as I said before. It's a must-win game for both teams.
01:52So expect to put our best foot forward.
01:56And the players know it's always a rivalry when TNT and Jamaica teams clash.
02:01It's like a Trinidad versus Jamaica kind of thing.
02:05So we know it's always a tough rivalry between us and Trinidad.
02:10So we know we're focused and I think the boys are very happy, you know, coming off two wins of two games.
02:18So, you know, we're very confident and, you know, we're ready for the challenge.
02:22Terrence Clark, TV6 Sport.
