AC POS will hope it's a case of third time lucky.

As they will be aiming for their first win in Group B of the Caribbean Cup.

The TT PFL champions will host Antiguan club Grenades from 6pm tomorrow at the Hasely Crawford stadium.

And a win will put AC POS in contention for qualification.

00:00The first two rounds of the Caribbean Cup has been a matter of what if for A.C. Porter's pain.
00:05Twice they have squandered leads, earning a draw in their first encounter,
00:09and gave up a late winner to Dominican Republic club Moca, losing that one 3-2.
00:15But they have a great opportunity to earn full points against the group's bottom club,
00:19Grenades FC, at home tomorrow.
00:21And coach Walt Noriega is mindful of what is needed to get over the mental hurdle.
00:26It's about managing the games. There are periods in the games where
00:30we know that we're falling short at certain times of the game.
00:34It's how we deal with those periods and that time of the game.
00:38It's all just about managing from the 70th minute, the 65th, 70th minute, go on to the 90th.
00:46And with tomorrow's opponent scouted, he mentioned what has to be done.
00:49We get the opportunity to look at them play.
00:52We saw some of the key players. So it's all about neutralizing
00:55those key players in certain parts of the pitch.
00:58And again, we just have to be resolute defensively and avoid any
01:04simple blunders or tardiness in our part of our game.
01:08What isn't ideal is the lack of match fitness for local clubs,
01:12with competitions like the Caribbean Cup being played outside of our league season.
01:16Because we still weren't able to get the matches going, but
01:20we could have done the physical part of it.
01:22They're just getting more lungs in the boys and them,
01:25where they stretch their legs and just to compete.
01:28So it was still our task to get games going for them.
01:31Hopefully that the work that we do, as I said, in the past three weeks, that it proves well.
01:37Despite this, Captain Dwayne Mockett views
01:40the challenge as a chance to promote TNT football on a bigger stage.
01:44It means a lot. It means a lot.
01:46It means it's a form of representing Trinidad and Tobago,
01:50not just with the national team, but on a club level,
01:53showcase where we are at locally in club football.
01:57And it's just about representing the country well.
02:01It's about showing what Trinidad and Tobago football can do.
02:04And I take it very seriously.
