00:00good morning well it's been a chilly start to monday morning but a bright start out there and

00:05we have high pressure dominating as we go through the week so out there at the moment plenty of blue

00:11sky will hold on to that through much of the day a few showers just towards the far southeast of

00:16england cloud generally building across western scotland and the main focus for showers through

00:21the afternoon is really confined to orkney and shetland still running down on that brisk

00:27northwesterly wind but otherwise best of the sunshine across wales and the southwest of england

00:33a bit more cloud across east anglia but temperatures are still a little bit below average for the time

00:39of year but in the sunshine away from any of the stronger winds highs of up to 17 degrees so should

00:45still be feeling quite pleasant in that strong sunshine so as we go through monday evening

00:52then most of the cloud will melt away across northern parts of england northern ireland and

00:56scotland we have a focus for some showers running into the far southeast of england mainly across

01:01parts of kent some of these could be heavy at times too but for the vast majority it's a dry night to

01:07come to start tuesday morning still a few showers across the northern isles but otherwise temperatures

01:12are going to be falling away once again we'll see a few mist and fog patches but a touch of frost

01:17especially in the countryside to start tuesday morning but that does lead to a bright start for many

01:24of us on tuesday morning still with a focus for some showers perhaps across east anglia and across

01:30the far southeast of england mainly across sussex and kent otherwise as we go through the afternoon

01:36a bit more cloud in the forecast so that will start building as we go through the day but there will

01:41still be plenty of sunny spells and a much drier picture across orkney and shetland as we go through

01:46the afternoon with sunny spells here and much lighter winds so actually temperatures even though

01:52coming up a slightly below average they are just generally climbing now up to 17 or 18 degrees so

01:58hopefully still feeling pleasant where you do catch any sunny spells that's all from me for now though
