The wait is over—Daniel Day-Lewis makes his long-anticipated return to the screen in Anemone. Directed by Ronan Day-Lewis in his feature debut and co-written with his father, the drama marks Day-Lewis’s first performance since Phantom Thread (2017). The cast also includes Sean Bean, Samuel Bottomley, Safia Oakley-Green, and Samantha Morton. Anemone will premiere at the 2025 New York Film Festival before opening in limited release on October 3 and expanding nationwide October 10 from Focus Features.
