00:52The technical aspect and spectacle of the game, whether players could produce stinging
01:04smash and grueling rallies, were secondary at the competition, dedicated to individuals
01:09with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
01:13More importantly, it was a celebration of inclusivity, unity, sportsmanship and love for the game.
01:19Yeah, I betul-betul suka-suka badminton ini.

02:25Many of the 80 players from 10 Asia-Pacific nations who took part in the competition are coached by their parents,
02:31who said they spent years of efforts to train them to be better players because of their learning difficulties.
02:37At first, I taught him how to hold the reggae, how to hit the ball correctly,
02:45and then I taught him how to smash the ball.
02:50So, after he knew to smash, I taught him how to serve it short and long.
02:57After he knew everything, I joined with him to play with others.
03:04Start from low level. My friend had many different levels.
03:08So, he can get more experience when he plays with others.
03:14He also became interested in this badminton game.
03:19And then, he always also watched the video, what YouTube competition of the Olympics.
03:26If we look at the team Special Olympics in Malaysia, we are faced with the challenges that we need to see.
03:37The first thing is from the area of the IDD.
03:41The challenges of the IDD sometimes are not able to do as the coach.
03:47There are people who don't understand the rules from the jurulatih itself.
03:53And they will be able to do as the jurulatih itself to repeat once again to give them the advice.
04:00But, this thing is possible.
04:03It is possible to do as the way.
04:05It is possible to do as a long time.
04:09Maybe a month.
04:12But at first we must be patient, we cannot always go like this, like this
04:22Sometimes he also not very happy with what I say until he cries
04:29But I say, you cool down, you cannot like this
04:34I ask him to sit first, relax, to relax first
04:39And then think what is wrong just now
04:43And then after that, ask him to play again
04:47The support from families, peers, society, and the corporate sector is very important in the development of these athletes
04:55Asir daripada didikan, daripada keluarga itu sendiri
04:59Memainkan peranan sangat penting
05:27Kakaknya datang, Sabrina menjadi kuat semangat
06:40Terima kasih
