Some 250 badminton enthusiasts converged at the SBE Serla Charity Badminton Tournament in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur on July 20 to put their skills to the test and do something for the underprivileged communities.
00:37So for this tournament, not only Malaysians that join.
00:40We got players that come from from China and Indonesia also participating in this tournament.
00:46And a lot of local clubs that supporting us and send their players to come and play today.
00:53As you can see as the title there, we have a charity world.
00:57So mainly, we will be donating and crowdfunding funds from this tournament.
01:03And then we will donate it to some NGO in local society.
01:07In this tournament, total we have eight categories, which is boys single under 10, 12, 14 and 16.
01:14And we have girls single under 14.
01:17And mixed double Bagat Baru, men's double Bagat Baru and men's double semi pro.

01:26In our 22 years of business in this electrical industry, we always look to do this kind of community project to benefit society.
01:39And sports is one of the areas that we focus because sports is a very good actually platform to bring all the community together and all the races together.
01:52So we always focus on this area.
01:55And we have done quite many tournaments together with other organisations.
02:01Of course, we also participate in some community work.
02:04For example, we do the eye screening project in Sungai Buloh.
02:09And during COVID time, we also collaborate with the village heads to provide some food assistance to those who need help.
