00:00Welcome to the channel ladies and gentlemen. Today I'm going to show you how to change
00:03all of the view options in Microsoft Outlook. So ladies and gentlemen we are in Outlook. I'm
00:09using the browser version of the web version and right at the top you'll see your ribbon and you
00:14will now see home view and help and you're going to go and click on view. Now if you're using the
00:19Outlook app on your device then this will be the same thing. You will have slightly more options
00:25though in the actual app. Here you can go to conversations view so you can see how it's
00:31actually listed. You can also go to the message preview so if you show your preview text here
00:37or you hide your preview text you then also have the way your conversation is expanded. If you change
00:43these settings that'll be available and then you have your ribbon which is this section over here
00:49at the top you can have that simplified ribbon and then you can also go and change that back to your
00:56classic ribbon. You can also change the folder pane which as you can see currently is on the left hand
01:02side. You can change the folder list which is this section. You can have it hidden or shown as well as
01:09your favorites and as well as how your folders are sorted and then your reading pane which is this main
01:14section. You can have it show on the right. You can have it show right at the bottom and then you can also
01:19have it full screen which means it will not be visible unless you actually open an email. You can
01:25also then change the my day so right now on the right hand side it's not showing but you can show
01:31that and here it'll show you your to-do list. You can also change the density over here from roomy to
01:37cozy to compact and once you've done all of these settings and you still want some additional settings
01:43you can go over to the left and you'll see view settings over here. It'll take you to this tab
01:49under main mail and under layout and you'll be able to change a whole bunch more about your view
01:55settings including how things are displayed, text size and spacing, organization as well as height
02:03and your center image and then your reading pane, how your messages will be ordered and the list
02:09goes on. Go ahead and explore and customize your view in Outlook.
