01:54Stretching from Maine to the tip of Florida, the East Coast plays host to a multitude of cities and towns rich in our nation's history.

02:07But beneath its beauty, there lies a worrying wickedness.

02:12And my first stop in the Erie East is in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

02:21Locals here swear he's half goat, half man, who wields an axe and stalks the woods making eerie sounds, unnatural sounds.

02:41Anyway, I'm here to meet Wynn and Chase and see if they have the scariest house in America.

03:27And we basically live in the haunted version of the Clue board game.

03:29The original home was built by the Bowie family of Bowie, Maryland.

03:32And it mysteriously burned down in 1850 and then rebuilt on the same spot.

03:38I'd never believed in ghosts.

03:39And then after moving in here, it was confirmed over and over and over again that something

03:43is in this house.

03:46There's unexplained noises.

03:48Footsteps coming down the grand staircase.

03:50Had items flown off the wall.

03:52Living with ghosts is kind of the deal here.

04:05So basically the house was with the Bowie family of Bowie, Maryland until the 1950s when

04:10a state representative and his wife Gladys moved in.

04:13They made quite a few additions which I think may have disrupted some energies in the house.

04:19We are becoming known as the most haunted house in Maryland.

04:24There's at least eight ghosts.

04:25There's a little doll over here that we keep in a case on purpose.

04:29We witnessed a little orb kind of fly out of its face one night.

04:40This chair would randomly at times be moved right here facing out the back window.

04:48He's our squatter.

04:49Ed McSini who passed in the house whenever he was sick and ailing that they take a chair

04:55to the door so that he could look out into what we call Goatman Hollow down there.

05:00Legend is there's a half man half goat that roams these woods.

05:06In the 50s dogs would suddenly become beheaded and this became such a problem that there was

05:12a decree from the White House saying
