00:16A consultation was then set up by Acorn Homes, which saw proposals put forward for up to 50 flats and commercial outlets on the site.
00:24Nearly a year on, the developer has confirmed that it is pulling out of the site, citing rising costs, a stagnant property market, and delays caused by both Somerset Council's planners and the Environment Agency.
