00:00The wall up here collapsed due to heavy rain and there was afraid of a landslide coming down here,
00:09Marlborough Street coming down and all along here too it was coming down.
00:18Chars are absolutely destroyed aren't they?
00:20There's a van on there, you don't forget a van yet, on there and there's a car up a net over that corner.
00:27Marlborough's car was there, that was taken away. Long story short now they came and they filled it up with gravel and stones and stuff like that.
00:37They were to come back and repair the wall but they put this fence up here so that's their building site which I go near it, the DOE.
00:48So where left now is there's a plague of rats in there and we put up different traps, one in there.
00:56You can see one down here and one there and one here.
01:08They told me you've caught eight.
01:13We've caught eight, yeah.
01:15And what we want now, we want the DOE to come up at their building site, we can't go in there.
01:20And we did go in there and disturb that and something happened, we're in Baller.
01:25So we want them to come at their building site, it's barricaded off, come up and take all that away and put gabions up.
01:34So they put hard core in there and just fence it off like the way, but they're supposed to come back and do it?
01:40Supposed to come back and they never came back.
01:43So now you've got an undergrowth in there and it's thriving with rat populations.
01:47That's right, killing you.
01:49And we're now in the process of contacting the Department of the Environment and the Health People.
01:57Now they came up, Environmental Health came up and they told us not to even put out traps because of the possibility of Lyme disease and stuff like that.
02:08But how are you going to catch them if you don't put your traps up?
02:12You don't like them at the back of the house?
02:14No.
02:15And there's a plague of them at the moment, we don't want them coming over the walls and stuff like that.
02:20We basically want something done.
02:22You're at your end of your tether, basically.
02:24If they come up there and clean that out and done a proper gabby and retain them all, we'd be happy with that.
02:33You're not concerned about any repeat of the sort of flooding incident?
02:36Do you think that's okay?
02:37That's resolved now this day?
02:38Well, they said here could happen very easily.
02:40It's collapsed from there over to that garage here.
02:45So I don't think that'll go away again.
02:48That'll not come down.
02:49But this here could very easily explode out with heavy rain.
02:54And basically parts of the wall, way up the top, the wall collapsed.
03:00And down here at the bottom, Kevin collapsed as well.
03:03You know?
03:04So the wall issue generally here, this part of it, has kind of been resolved.
03:08But now we've got a different problem because of it.
03:10A different problem now, yeah.
03:11And it needs to be finished.
03:12Yeah.
03:13Yeah.
