01:43His name is Jerry Hampton.

01:45And he's claiming to be attacked by an evil entity.

03:58And then I also found out a previous owner.

04:01He was found lying face down on the floor in Jerry's house in the hallway for three days.

04:12And once they discovered him, they took him to a hospital and he died.

04:25We have to now take this even more serious because of the extra vulnerabilities that they have.

05:55Though Jerry may be unaware with his innocent effort to preserve history, could he unintentionally

06:02have invited a highly charged energy into his home, which has come at a price?

06:08This here has been in my family for 100 years.

06:12That goes back around the 1860s.

06:14My grandmother, she had four kids on it.

06:16She died on it.

06:17My bed, my grandfather and grandma both died on it.

06:21But she had five kids, and four of them, all five of them were born on that bed.

07:18That one night when that thing jumped on me, that was a new, new, uh, I'd do something

07:26To get something to jump on top of you and choke on you, it had to be a force.

08:29One night, I woke up, I felt like I had scratches.

09:02Ian, a friend of Jerry's who also acts as a caretaker of his home, wants to share what

09:07he's experienced when he's alone in the house, but only under conditions of anonymity.

09:12Well, Jerry was telling you watch the house for him sometimes when he's gone.

09:17And he told me that this house is kind of haunted.

09:20For example, I was in my room and the whole night I heard like sounds like somebody was whispering.

09:27And all of a sudden, like the lights in the living room was flickering.

09:32You always had that feeling somebody's there with you or, you know, something's watching you.

09:39I think it's something evil or something bad, you know.

09:41Are you worried about him when he stays here or do you feel he's in danger?

09:45Sometimes.

09:46Sometimes.

09:47Like there was some, some incident with a guy.

09:49He lived there and he lost consciousness and fell and I think he died, yeah.

09:57My, he was my, my son's father-in-law.

10:00Oh, wow.

10:01He, he fell and they found him three days later in the hallway by the bathroom.

10:05Really?

10:09Is it known how he fell at all or is it kind of still?

10:11No, I don't have many ideas except he fell and I'm thinking he might have just tripped and I'm thinking he got pushed.

10:20It's kind of a weird coincidence.

10:21I think being pushed is normal around here.

10:24I'm feeling that's what I experienced and I'm relating to possibly what happened to him.

10:29When you get attacked or consistently being attacked, you've got a problem.

10:36I live with a firm conviction that, you know, this place is active for several reasons.

10:41Uh, there's a location I park here called Spiral Mounds, which is a, it was an ancient Indian burial site.

10:47So I believe in that theory that this could be, they have land spirits that, they're far before we were.

10:52Spiral Mounds is right here, we're in it.

10:54This is Indian.

10:55Right, this is here, yeah.

10:56We're right in the ley line between here and Egypt and you might as well say Stonehenge.

11:02We're all on the same hook up.

11:04Were they burial mounds or was it more for, you know.

11:07It was, it was, they had burial mounds and they also did cremation here.

11:11Though Spiral Mounds has been in existence since 800 AD, in the 1930s land rights were granted to a commercial enterprise who, acting like grave robbers, pillaged one of the only sacred burial mounds on the site, discarding the remains and selling off tribal antiquities.

11:32This type of disruption may have sent shock waves of negative energy throughout Spyro and the surrounding area, creating a curse that's possibly contributing to the disturbances in Jerry's home.

11:47Mr. Hampton has got artifacts in the house that I believe does have spirits attached to them.

11:54My question is like, could it, you know, when the activity started, was it after you got a particular item?

12:28Is it possible the fossilized bone and Native American artifacts Jerry acquired may unknowingly be actual tribal remnants from the desecration of Spyro mounds nearly a century ago?

12:49If so, we're dealing with something that may be projecting a curse upon him and causing the disturbances he's called us here to resolve.

13:10You know, they can do a ceremony to properly give whatever is attached to this that's possibly causing harm, to give it the proper rest it deserves.

21:39I wanted to go in more with religious provocation, and that was also because talking to Jerry,

21:51he said when he got attacked in his sleep and he woke up and was fighting this entity,

21:55he used Jesus' name and he uses his faith.

21:59So he thought it would be a good idea to try religious provocation to see if we can get some kind of response.

26:21And then it disappeared.

26:23So now I'm shooting the area where I think the figure in the reflection was standing.

26:28To rule out a false positive, we have to shoot the exact same angle and see if it happens again.
