00:00And are you ready for a very special person who's coming out to the ring?
00:04Oh my goodness!
00:06Laboon is!
00:07To the ring!
00:12Gail Kim!
00:15One of the GOATs, one of the greatest of all time!
00:19Gail Kim is here at NWA Empower, and what a sight it is!
00:24Velvet, you've got the long, long history with her!
00:26Gail and I, we have been up and down the road, different states, different cities, different countries, battling each other night in and night out!
00:37Gail Kim, the first ever Knockouts Women's Champion!
00:42Someone that I call a great friend of mine, she's a pioneer of women's wrestling, she's a women's wrestling legend, one of the best women's wrestlers in the world, and I'm thrilled that she's here tonight with us at the NWA!
00:54She is everything that Empower is about, confidence, believe it in yourself, and supporting your fellow athlete!
01:08First ever TNA Women's Champion right there, baby!
01:13History Maker!
01:15Wow, guys!
01:16Just wow!
01:18Wow!
01:18This place is filled with so much history and tradition, I'm just, I'm just having a difficult time expressing what I'm thinking and feeling right now.
01:34You guys know that talking wasn't always my thing, but I'm gonna do my best right now, okay?
01:40For the 20, for the past 20 years, I've poured my sweat, my tears, my love, my life into professional wrestling.
01:57Just like all the women before me, Mildred Burke, Sensational Sherry, Wendy Richter, Medusa, Jazz, just to name a few.
02:11And now, we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
02:22Tonight is such a historic night, I am truly humbled and so appreciative that NWA asked me to be a part of this historic event.
02:32And I just hope that you, the fans, appreciate the love and passion that I have for women's wrestling.
02:46Wait a minute!
02:47Uh-oh!
02:48Who's raining on Gayle's parade now?
02:50Oh my goodness!
02:52One of Gayle's biggest rivals in Impact Wrestling, Taryn Terrell.
02:57Now, anyone who is a fan of women's wrestling knows the iconic, hard-hitting, brutal matches and feuds these two women have had.
03:06And it seems like Taryn has some unfinished business tonight with Gayle Kim.
03:10And she brought backup!
03:12Disrespectful to Gayle Kim, but...
03:14The cyborg!
03:15And that looks like Paola Blaze!
03:18Yeah.
03:19Paola Blaze and Genocide, who have aligned themselves with Taryn Terrell, coming in as backup.
03:25Yeah, something tells me this isn't a congratulatory affair.
03:30Oh no.
03:30No, no, no.
03:31Taryn just blatantly disrespected Gayle by interrupting.
03:34Oh!
03:35Wow, and just taking the mic from her!
03:37Now we will hear from Taryn Terrell herself.
03:39Gayle!
03:42Gayle Kim!
03:44She came all the way to NWA to see me!
03:51Oh my god!
03:53That is so cute how much you miss me.
03:57I'm like so flattered.
03:59I would totally miss me too.
04:01Oh my god.
04:02Do you remember those incredible matches that we had?
04:05You guys remember, right?
04:06All of those amazing matches?
04:09Yeah.
04:10Well, here's the thing.
04:12I just wanted to tell you that they were because I am such a great wrestler, and I am so happy
04:18for you that you got to wrestle me.
04:21You're so welcome for that!
04:23Ah!
04:23Oh, but here's another thing.
04:29So you just came to my house, and there's really only room for one legend here.
04:36And since I'm like so much cuter, I think it's time for you to go.
04:42Okay!
04:44Bye!
04:49Punch her in the face!
04:51We love Gayle!
04:53Kay!
04:55Bye!
05:00I don't think Gayle's going anywhere.
05:03The nerve.
05:03The disrespect to Gayle Kim right now.
05:06Gayle!
05:07Are you deaf?
05:10I said...
05:12Bye!
05:14I'm surprised Gayle has been able to maintain her composure for this long.
05:20She can only be pushed so far, but...
05:21Gayle Kim, I know.
05:22Here's the thing.
05:23It's always the Gayle show!
05:25Am I right?
05:26Like, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle, Gayle!
05:29God, I'm so sick of hearing it!
05:31She may be projecting there.
05:33Yes.
05:34I mean, it really, like, hurts my ear.
05:36But here's the thing.
