00:00Shohei Ohtani lines up as a starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and what does he do?
00:04Five innings pitch, one walk, five strikeouts, no hits, and no runs. A 4-0 lead for the Los
00:10Angeles Dodgers. Looked like the Phillies probably partied a little bit too hard the
00:14night before, which is what we're anticipating. Sanchez wasn't terrible in this game. Seven
00:18innings pitch, four earned runs. You'd like to see it better. Gave up two home runs,
00:21but this was a game you thought would be lock, stock, and barrel that Dodgers would win.
00:24Specifically, if I told you, Joe, before the game, Ohtani wouldn't give up a hit through
00:28five innings, but the Phillies were able to tackle late in this game, nine runs, which means they
00:34scored six in the top of the six. Just coincides with Shohei Ohtani being removed from the game
00:39because he was on a pitch count, and then three more in the ninth when it was tied at six to win
00:43this game nine to six. The Phillies continue to win. Yeah, it's good to see Ohtani hit a home run.
00:48Yes, it's great to see him pitching well, but Jesus, bullpen, give him some support.
00:53No, no. And again, that has been my biggest complaint about this Dodgers team all season
00:59long, Donnie. It's what has kept me off them. It's why I stopped betting them. And this has not
01:05changed. No matter who they got back healthy in the starting rotation, that bullpen is a hot mess.
01:11I mean, you could literally still smell through the TV the alcohol on the Phillies players from the
01:17celebration the night before, and the bullpen couldn't come in and close the door, Donnie,
01:22at all. You got to be kidding me, especially when Ohtani's doing what Ohtani's doing here. I mean,
01:29just no excuse at all. But kudos to the Phillies. You know, harkens back to those
01:35Darren Dalton days and Kruk days where they were pretty much loaded the entire season,
01:40still winning games at World Series.
