00:13Series champ, how would the pitching perform in October? Well here as of late

00:18it has been lights out. It has been legitimately shut out. The Dodgers

00:26planked the Mets in game number one of the LCS. 9-0 the victory at the

00:32ravine yesterday. The Dodgers were a minus 162 home money line favorite. Total

00:38of 8 does go over because of a bases clearing double from Mookie Betts later

00:44in the game to cap off a wonderful night in LA for the Dodgers. The Mets only

00:51able to record three base knocks. Make it 33 consecutive innings DRS for Los

00:57Angeles without allowing a single run. That is the most we have seen an MLB

01:05postseason history matching a record from the 1967 Baltimore Orioles. Yeah

01:12when you're going good you're going good here. The Dodgers the issue was never

01:15that lineup. They posted nine runs. It was questioning what you're gonna get

01:18out of your starting pitchers and your bullpen. They've been nothing short of

01:21phenomenal but here's what I like about the Dodgers. Advanced scouting

01:24absolutely spectacular and a lineup that can execute. Kodai Senga pitch against

01:28the Philadelphia Phillies. First at bat launch missile 440 feet into the seats

01:33here. Yeah you probably could have had him to say no and he's gonna be rattled

01:35but Phillies unlike the Dodgers swing at everything which includes not even ever

01:39throwing a strike to them. So what did the Dodgers do against Kodai Senga? You

01:43know what we've watched him not be able to throw strikes. Let's just be patient

01:46here. An inning and two thirds four walks three earned runs. That game was

01:49over immediately because they understood the task at hand. Swing at strikes. Don't

01:54swing at balls. Take the free bases. Come up with clutch base hits and they did

01:57that all night long. Five of 11 with runners in scoring position the Dodgers

02:01were. You take a look at the Mets. Only five runners left on base and only three

02:04of those even got batting attempts here with a runner in scoring position. A

02:08phenomenal effort from the Dodgers which is supposed to happen here. The Mets

02:12played great baseball down the stretch. Played a couple dead baseball teams. Now

02:15they're showing up against the Dodgers and they're struggling. The key is gonna

02:18be now though. How long does this shutout streak go? Because the one thing we do

02:22know is the pressure starts a bit. It's a seven game series. So you get a little

02:25more leeway than the three and the five games. But the New York Mets didn't score

02:28a run. When as we get into the third inning and the fourth inning and the

02:31fifth inning tent where they don't score. Now you start pressing and it starts

02:34getting even harder. You need a big performance out of the Mets in game

02:38number two just to make sure you score a run over the first three innings so that

02:42streak just doesn't bury you.
