00:00you come into the northwest three times with it southport salford and liverpool how are you
00:14feeling about your trips to those places no stress at all none of those towns make you work
00:22at all the southport comedy festival when i was there last year was it last year yeah
00:29a woman came up to me on a zimmer frame an old woman while i was on stage and was offering me a
00:37chocolate bar because apparently the year before i said i needed sugar or something and nobody stopped
00:44her this woman just started crying they all thought she was part of the show so southport is stunning
00:50uh i do the only thing i tease him about is that the tide is never in we've never seen the sea in
00:55southport it's like 500 miles away from the from the edge and i said has anybody here ever seen a
01:01tide in and i think one person put their hand up um uh what else where else was a liverpool well yeah
01:08they're great you know what i mean there's no problem in in liverpool because they're already
01:13kind of irish and i actually had oh my god the liverpool story is amazing i was i only did this
01:21for the liverpool show this particular fact so hitler's brother alosh a-l-o-i-s alosh hitler he
01:30lived in ireland and he went there to ireland before world war ii started i think it was and then it was
01:36that hitler was rising up as he was there and he he wouldn't have anything to do with him but he was a
01:41porter in the shelburne hotel in dublin right this gets insane he then met an irish woman and he lied to
01:48her and said that he owned hotels she thought this was great but then soon found out that he was
01:53lying but it didn't really matter they stayed together anyway they then had a baby called
01:58willie hitler you can look all this up this is absolutely true william hitler he was called willie
02:04hitler and they moved to liverpool let's read and this is why i did the story in liverpool
02:09and so he was called willie hitler you can watch footage of him on on youtube and he's talking about
02:15is uh because i have nothing to do with my uncle at all he's talking like this i am willie hitler
02:20and i have nothing to do so i do that show tell them it's pretty funny you know whatever mad fact
02:26and i didn't know but there was a historian in the audience in liverpool and he instagrammed me
02:32actually said sorry jason i didn't want to say i was a historian sound like an arsenal he said but um
02:37he said you won't believe this that he says the venue that you were in willie hitler lived a hundred
02:42meters from the venue you were in i couldn't believe it like it was an amazing fact so this is
02:48it this is how the audience always act react and that and yeah so i'm always amazed at what i bring
02:54out of people if the northwest place was so fit what are your thoughts on so fit
02:59they're just as they're just as good fun um i remember i don't this just flew into my head now
03:07doing a gig there and i had a kind of a like a dance routine or some sort of funny little
03:12simple step thing and i kept asking the guy to get up and he was going no and i was going oh like he
03:18seemed all right i was like come on come on he goes i've only got one leg he says right so he had a
03:24prosthetic limb but he got up anyway and uh started to twist and turn it while he was on stage like
03:29absolutely freaking us all out but uh yeah lots of um manchester organizing and the last time i oh
03:38yeah ed byrne came to see me you know ed byrne the comedian ed byrne came to see me he was in the
03:44audience and a woman stopped me while i was talking and said sorry jason can i just ask you something
03:49and i went what and she goes is ed byrne your brother like unbelievable so we sat we settled that and i
03:55went what are you talking about do you know that burns are basically as popular as murphy's or
04:00o'donnell's there's millions of us in ireland i said ed lives in the opposite side of the dublin to me
04:05he's called ed byrne and i'm called jason but there is millions of burns and then ed i said are you my
04:10brother and he goes no and i said that's that settled then so there we go so yeah god knows what's
04:17going to happen next at the old salford near the old trafford i'll have to go over there i'll go on in
04:23and watch a match if that's on as well godless of where people are why should they get tickets to
04:28come see your stand-up show because it's a break from the norm absolute total everybody's always
04:35said that i've had so many compliments here going oh my god jason i so needed that so they get they
04:41get fulfilled in the show literally i've had somebody go thank you for putting my head in the clouds for
04:47i thought that was
04:50you
