00:00A red flag would be just individual centered thinking rather than team
00:04centered thinking. If it's for a leadership role how much they use the
00:07term I as opposed to we. Lack of understanding of detail. Being overly
00:11certain or negative about things. I find that the best leaders are willing to
00:16learn and question. So I'm looking for someone who's willing to share what went
00:20well, what didn't go well, where are they strong, where are they learning.
00:23Ability to listen and answer the question asked thoughtfully and not sort of the
00:31canned response or the response that they were hoping to give. I asked people to
00:34describe for me their biggest mistake at work that they have ever made and what
00:39they learned from it. And the reason that is a red flag for me is someone cannot
00:43articulate mistakes that they have made. One they haven't been in a leadership
00:46position to make mistakes because we all make mistakes or two they're not
00:49self-introspective enough to recognize when the mistake is theirs.
