Woman Smokes Inside AC Train Coach, Argues With Passengers — Breaks Down When TC Confronts Her

New Delhi: A video going viral on social media shows a woman smoking a cigarette inside the air-conditioned coach of a passenger train, leading to heated arguments with fellow travellers.

In the clip, a male passenger confronts her, saying smoking is prohibited. When he begins recording, the woman reacts angrily: “You are making a video, this is very wrong. Delete it immediately.” She further argues, “I am not spending your money to smoke. This is not your train. Go call the police.”

Another co-passenger can be heard saying: “This is an AC compartment. Don’t you know smoking is not allowed here?”

When the matter escalated, a ticket checker (TC) intervened. He informed the woman that smoking inside trains is illegal and presented three options: pay a fine, be let off with a warning, or face police action. At this stage, the woman reportedly panicked and broke down in tears.

Indian Railways officials said the case has been forwarded to concerned authorities for further action. However, the authenticity and details of the viral video could not be independently verified.
