00:00Well, it's nice to be in Farnham, never been here before, but I have to say I've enjoyed it.
00:13The hospitality's been great, the hotel's been great, looked after us very, very well,
00:18and even catered for us a bit later than normal last night to accommodate us.
00:22So, many thanks to the hotel.
00:24As you can see, there's an array of athletes here, all about to get on their bikes.
00:29It's great for Bradley, he comes down, the leader of the pack.
00:33And, of course, there's my old sparring partner, Bill Bowman.
00:38And they're down here to give him a wave of, and hopefully see him all in one piece,
00:43that Lord's commute around a bit later on.
00:45Are you getting on your bike, or...?
00:47Do I look like someone trying to get on a bike? No.
00:50My bike would be a 500cc bike, yeah.
00:53So, hi Bradley, welcome to Farnham.
00:55I know it's a route you know well from heading into the Olympics, but what's it like being back and also doing it for the Beef East charity?
01:02Yeah, it's really nice. I mean, I'm really enjoying cycling at the moment.
01:05I had four years where I didn't cycle at all.
01:08So, it's quite nice to be able to do things like this now, and do it for the pleasure, and for a really good cause as well,
01:13and to link up with Ian and his charity. So, I'm looking forward to it.
01:16And what about the route itself? It's a route you know well. Are you looking forward to going back and sort of...?
01:20Yeah, it'd be nice. It's a shame we're not doing Box Hill now. I'd like to have gone up there again.
01:23Yeah.
01:24But, I'm looking for it. It's a beautiful part of the world.
01:27Yeah.
01:28And I love Farnham. It's been a pleasure being here last night.
01:31And what's it like, the people you're doing it with? How's the camaraderie been so far?
01:35Yeah, I mean, I haven't met everyone. A lot of people just turned up this morning, but I think it's going to be...
01:40Once you're on the bike, you know, you can't help but help each other, and there's all different abilities here.
01:45So, it's going to be good.
01:46Hi, Bill. Welcome to Farnham. What's it like being here today for the Beefy's charity?
01:50And how are you looking forward to the next part of the ride today?
01:53I'll probably be a bit more relieved once I've finished, I think, rather than at the start.
01:58But, I'm looking around here and there are some real serious cycles.
02:01It's a Bradley Wiggins here, you know, you don't get much better than that.
02:05So, no, it's a really good charity, so happy to support it.
02:10Ian and I are old mates from way, way back.
02:13So, you know, we help each other out as we can at charity.
02:16And what's it like as a sporting legend yourself?
02:19You know, you're getting a bit older, but, you know, you've had some sporting achievements,
02:24but now doing something like this to continue going and to inspire people of the older generation
02:29also to get out there and support charities such as Beefy's. What's it like?
02:32Well, I've been about 17 now.
02:33Yeah.
02:34So, really, I just like to think that I've still got the same attitude that I had to life and get out
02:39and try and enjoy it. So, keep yourself active, you know, keep your brain going
02:43and sort of, I'm involved with charities up in the North.
02:46And, you know, when Beefy ran me and Sarah said she was organising this, yeah, no problem. Happy to do it.
02:53And is this your first time coming to Farnham? Is this the first time you've seen the town?
02:56I think I've been through Farnham before and, in fact, I was invited to come
02:59because the rugby club is their 50th anniversary coming up.
03:02Yeah.
03:03And I think they're having a celebration in about three weeks' time on a Sunday.
03:06Unfortunately, I can't make it otherwise that I would have done.
03:08But the home of Johnny Wilkinson, that's where he started off.
03:11So, it's not a bad rugby. It's a good rugby club.
03:23You're an satellä .
03:35So, you can't do that.
03:38So, that's the first time when you're watching this, when you got home
