00:00I was lucky enough to spend some time with Ricky over the years.
00:02I had a sport relief bout back in 2008 against Lamar,
00:06and Ricky was my mentor and my coach.
00:10He'd been a hero of mine for years.
00:12I loved my boxing, and no-one fought like Ricky Hatton fought,
00:14like an absolute lion.
00:16And he was so humble and wore his heart on his sleeve.
00:19And to go to his gym and train with him and meet his team,
00:22and he was just so generous with his time and his humour and his energy,
00:27so down-to-earth.
00:28And then I'd been able to spend some time with him over the years
00:31in Soccerade, and I've interviewed him a number of times.
00:33He was always such a fabulous person to be around.
00:37To think that he's no longer with us is absolutely heartbreaking.
00:42He didn't care who you were.
00:44He just wanted to spend time and loved being around people.
