Kindergarten chaos as childcare educators go on strike in Victoria

Early childhood educators have stopped work across Victoria as the state government refuses to make a pay offer despite 15 months of negotiations. The Victorian sector is facing a shortage of about 11,000 childcare workers needed by 2031 to roll out its free kinder program.
