00:00Prime Minister Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim has announced an additional allocation of 25 million ringgit each

00:08for Kelantan and Terengganu to repair flood-damaged infrastructure, bringing the total allocation to 50 million ringgit.

00:16He also announced special financial assistance of 500 ringgit for over 14,000 civil servants in Terengganu,

00:23totaling 7.4 million ringgit.

00:26Anwar emphasised that there was no need to declare an emergency.

00:30On Sunday morning, the Prime Minister arrived in Kuala Terengganu to personally assess the worsening flood situation and meet with victims.

00:38The number of flood victims in Terengganu has risen to over 43,000, up from 41,000 the previous day.

00:46More than 11,600 families are currently sheltering in 305 relief centres across all eight affected districts.

00:55According to the State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, Basut has the highest number of victims, totaling 16,084.

01:04The Infobanjir portal reported that 12 rivers across the state had reached dangerous water levels.
