14:53yeah yeah so i've been sober for 10 years hold on because uh when you get down that little dark
14:59path there's no way out for a lot of people picked up a drink when i was the age of 12 never really
15:07felt very comfortable in my own skin and alcohol gave me that confidence it got rid of any kind of
15:14worry any fear i chased that feeling i knew i was an alcoholic like you know i couldn't drink normally
15:22in the end it just got me exactly where i wanted me and the the bottle and completely isolated myself
15:29for me it was just hell yeah really hit my rock bottom when i was 21. yeah i was in quite a dark
15:37dark place at that time and i can't explain what it was but something in me knew that i'd had enough of
15:45of how i was feeling because my life had become so small i knew at that point i had to change
15:53because i do a 12-step program it's not always inspirational thank you yeah i'm very grateful
16:00that's a big step to even you know have that mindset of thinking this needs to stop now it's
16:05hard to get out of it yeah yeah that's good thank you

25:52was like that for months i wanted myself to become so weak that i wouldn't wake back up because it's
25:58too painful you know i was going to bed at night time i still got the same bed and the same mattress
26:07and there's like that little dip where i used to like to call memory phone mattress
26:12and you know it's like every night and he's just he's not there and it's hard
26:15i mean it's got to the stage where it's hard to move on because obviously you're still in love with
26:26that person yeah yeah um and you kind of feel guilty moving on as well but i've come to the point
26:33in my life where i feel like i deserve to be happy i deserve to be with someone i'm ready to actually

38:07under right and yeah everything just kind of fell apart from there yeah yeah everything we broke up
38:15and then cancelled our wedding we had to stop adoption um and then i actually on top after that
38:21lost my home as well oh wow this all happened in the space of two months i got to the point where i just
38:27pretty much lost everything my entire world just collapsed around me in one go found myself 35
38:35with nowhere to live not a penny to my name so i kind of just had to like press reset on life
38:42moved into my mom's little spare bedroom you know no issue in that it was i had no choice i remember
38:50going to bed at night and just not wanting to wake up the next day i didn't want to be here anymore
38:57one morning i just woke up and thought this cannot be where it ends this cannot be the thing that
39:02defines my entire life so i'd always wanted to get into property got in touch with a local estate
39:08agents went for an interview got the job the following year i'd managed to buy a home again
39:14i'm just so grateful that i gave myself another chance you know to be frank i want a family one day
39:21it's something i've always said i wanted as i say as you know i was getting there and yeah you said
39:27you were going to adopt i'd like to do that with someone one day meet someone and have that
39:33connection and start a family together again oh yeah lads we've got two stares we've got a medium rare
