00:00The Prime Minister has to come clean about what he knew and when.

00:03And that's first, like last week, he came to the House of Commons on Wednesday

00:07and gave a very strong defence of Peter Mandelson,

00:10when we now know that Number 10 was aware of detailed emails

00:16which set out his close relationship, Mandelson's close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

00:22We need the Prime Minister to publish all of this information,

00:25just get it out on the table so that we can understand what was going on last week

00:31but also what was going on when Mandelson was appointed at the end of last year

00:35in that it's obvious that the security and vetting process should have picked up these concerns

00:42and it may well have done so.

00:43We have very good security services in this country.

00:46It's highly likely that they raise these concerns.

00:48If those concerns were overridden, then that's very serious.

00:52And maybe somebody kept that information from the Prime Minister

00:54if they did, we need to know who.

00:57I think, you know, suspicion will fall on Morgan McSweeney,

00:59the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff, who put Mandelson up for the job.

01:02But if the Prime Minister saw that information and made the appointment anyway,

01:07then it falls on him.
