00:00And obviously there's still questions to be asked about what has and hasn't gone on.
00:03I wouldn't like to see the police doing anything that could frustrate the situation
00:06or make it worse in any which way or shape or form.
00:09The police should be policing without fear or favour.
00:12We know that people who arrive in the country illegally from some of these countries
00:16have very, well, they commit a very disproportionate amount of crime.
00:19So there are consequences to this.
00:21The reality is that since Labour came to power,
00:23the number of people arriving in this country hasn't gone up a little bit.
00:26It's gone up hugely.
00:27There's nearly 50% more people arriving in the country illegally.
00:32There are more people in hotels.
00:34That number was getting reduced before the election.
00:36It's now going up.
00:38And of those people that arrive illegally, less of them are being removed.
00:40It has a huge cost for the taxpayer.
00:43It has a huge cost for public services.
00:45It has a huge cost for the availability of homes in this country.
00:47We heard the Prime Minister earlier in the week saying
00:49there's loads of homes around for these guys to stay.
00:51That's just not the case.
00:52There are real consequences for communities to uncontrolled illegal immigration.
00:57There are real consequences for the people that have been in the country.
