00:00What a difference he has made to both those men in his corner, that man there, Andre the Giant, and the one trying to shield himself behind Andre the Giant, Rick Rude.
00:18But don't be misguided at all, because Rick Rude is an excellent wrestler, well versed in the art of wrestling, as well as a little skulldoggery too.
00:30Right you are. Andre right to the chokehold of Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Duggan is a big guy, but he looks so small up against Andre, doesn't he?
00:40Haha, he does indeed. Duggan is about 6'4", 6'5", weighing close to that 300 pound mark, he's about 280 pounds, and yet look at him against Andre the Giant.
00:53Big headbutt right to the corner, and now Ravishing Rick Rude comes in. Here comes the double team.
00:59Rude with right hands to the side of the head, and a snapmare to bring him down, and immediately they go right after the Hacksaw, and they are really unloading on him here.
01:10But no! Duggan moved out of the way, and I think that time Rude was fortunate, that he landed on his feet. Watch out now! Jake the Snake with combinations, as Duggan had made the tag on the opposite side.
01:24Sending Rude to the five ropes, and a foot right to the midsection. Andre coming in, and look at Jake the Snake, Alfred.
01:32Yes, he's doing exceptionally well Jake the Snake, and now he's got Andre tied between the top and the middle ropes, and he's going after Rude.
01:40Now he can take care of Rude, knowing full while that the Giant is not going to be able to do anything at all. A battering ram move! Here!
01:47And Rude head first to the Giant, and certainly both men have him their way. Moments ago we saw Rude wanting to hide behind the Giant. Once again the battering ram!
02:01There's no hiding behind the Giant right here! That man can go nowhere! And the Giant calling for Heenan to help him out of his trouble there.
02:10Where he's captured in those ropes, which Heenan does, but Heenan at the same time showing a lot of caution. He didn't want to get too close to the ring.
02:18Andre comes out with a big headbutt, and that ends that. Roberts goes down, and a forearm applied nicely by ravishing Rick Rude helps matters out.
02:29And now Rude, right to the big knee of Andre the Giant. Has a tag been made? I don't believe so. Rude still in, and a foot right to the midsection.
02:39He was over there close enough to make a tag, but Andre will remain on the outside.
02:44While Rude will stay in the ring all the time, he's on top. And now that he's back on top, he's trying to wreak as much vengeance as possible against Jake the Snake Roberts.
02:54And he's really applying that head hold as hard as he can. Now he makes the tag. And in comes Andre just nonchalantly stopping over that top rope.
03:04Andre to the back and now to the side of the neck, right to the trapezius. Pulling down on Jake the Snake. Roberts pushing.
03:12And Roberts, certainly, there's nothing you can do when a Giant is hovering over you like this.
03:18Absolutely not. And the Giant uses all that weight to devastating effect. And how difficult to hurt a man his size, his weight.
03:30Look at those huge hands grasping out there for Hacksaw Jim Duggan. And at the same time, I believe the Giant is using a little illegal method there with the strap of his leotard.
03:44Using that strap maybe to wrap around the throat of Jake the Snake. Meanwhile making the tag and then ravishing Rick Rude back in.
03:52But the fans are behind Hacksaw and Jake the Snake as you can hear them. Hacksaw leading the cheers in that left corner. But Jake the Snake is in trouble.
04:01He is in a lot of trouble. He needs to make a tag out as quickly as possible to Hacksaw Jim Duggan who on the outside now is completely fresh.
04:10He's trying his hardest to will his man back into his corner to make that tag. And Rude on his part is being successful by allowing, or not allowing I should say, Jake the Snake to make that tag.
04:29Snake as the referee is checking in. Maybe close to being out right here. He goes face first or at least down on the side of the mat.
04:37The referee is going to check here. Because that is nicely applied by ravishing Rick Rude. The arm is down in one, two. This is his last chance here.
04:46And the arm stays up. That close, huh? Oh, so close. Obviously weakened, but didn't take it down. A lot of courage and determination on the part of Jake Rude.
04:58On the part of Jake Roberts. And now if he can pull himself together, he really isn't too far from his own corner.
05:04And Rude is not doing a good job in cutting that ring in half. And there is a chance of him escaping, which he does.
05:12He kicked out, but Rude continues to assault this man. And Roberts thrown on the mat. Ravishing Rick Rude stumbled.
05:23And he stopped because Dougal pulled those ropes extremely hard indeed. And he tried to make that high-risk move. And in comes the Giant, and the referee is admonishing him.
05:35So Hex on Jim Duggan pulling that rope. And that certainly gets things more on an even keel. But Andre, one of the benefits of having Andre as your partner, you don't have to reach as far to get a tag.
05:51No, you don't. He reaches that massive long body. Seven foot four or seven foot five inches across the ropes. And he's almost halfway there.
06:01He's almost halfway there. That's right. But he missed that tag. Now here's a remarkably good chance for the state to make that tag. He does.
06:10Hacksaw Jim Duggan gets the tag. Andre still in that corner, hurting from that miss to the turnbuckles. And Hacksaw, look at him, pound away on Andre.
06:19Meanwhile, the Giant trying to fight back. Look at this in the corner. Both men going at it. Andre still in that corner.
06:26Duggan with a lot of energy. They're wailing away at the Giant. Now shoulder blocking him to the midsection. And he's trying to lift one of those huge legs.
06:34But that was a mistake on the part of Duggan. The Giant suffering a little there. Showing a lot of signs of wear. And he's had to tag in Rude, who's not fully recovered yet from that slip on the top rope and turnbuckle.
06:48Four arm shots. Now the fist to the head. And Hacksaw Jim Duggan in trouble. Right here you can say, Alfred, that Rude and the Giant certainly have been on the offense most of the match.
07:00Because, well, Snake needed to tag. He got one. But it hasn't been much better for Hacksaw with the exception of those combination blows right there. But Rude goes right back to the eyes.
07:10Yes, he did. And a little hot dog in there by Rude. Showing how confident they are now. They've turned the tide completely against the team of Duggan and Jake the Snake.
07:20Roberts. And in fact, look at this. A very, very, very close four there. Which would have ended this match. But Duggan just able to get his right leg onto the ropes.
07:32And that head of Andre the Giant. Such a weapon. The tag, was it made? No. Andre told Rude how close Hacksaw was to making the tag himself.
07:41He did indeed. And he just about saved the day. A little more hot dogging on the part of Rude. And that is not going to get the job done.
07:48You've got to pin your man. You've got to put him away while you've got the chance.
07:52Big right hand for the man in Glen Falls, New York. And Rude staggering.
07:59Ken Hacksaw put together something here. Yes, those knees are buckling. Look at them. They're very, very weak now.
08:05And that's always a sign if you look at the legs. And if you see them weak and then you know the rest of the body is extremely weak too.
08:13Extremely weak too. And look at Rude. He doesn't know which corner to go to. He's completely stunned. He's absolutely confused there.
08:23He was in the wrong line. He met the fist of Jake the Snake. And Jake wants back here. He does indeed.
08:31And Duggan did see him waving to him. But he's not quite sure where he is. Both men in the ring at the moment.
08:37Positively stunned. And cannot really get themselves together mentally.
08:43What a big shot by Andre. It put Hacksaw right down to the mat. Rude is back up. Duggan close to getting there.
08:50He dives and he makes the tag. And now Jake the Snake back in. Left handed blows. And now a right cross to the chin.
09:00Another one. Down goes Rick Rude. And didn't he floor him just then? What a tremendous right handed blow.
09:06That was by Jake the Snake Roberts who is completely fresh now. He's in there. And his main concern now would be to stop the Giant getting in.
09:15And he did just that. Great timing on the sense of Jake the Snake knowing the Giant was there. Got the knee left. The Giant from behind.
09:24And that was right at the moment of the DDT Alfred. It was indeed. He'd managed to get him into that position for a DDT. And now all four men are in the ring.
09:32Until just then when Duggan rolled out through the bottom ropes after a tremendous headbutt by Andre the Giant. And that leaves Rude completely in command of Jake the Snake. But look at this.
09:44Yes. The two by four to the midsection of Ravishing Rick Rude. Snake will cover him. And get the pin.
09:53And what a tremendous victory that was. For Duggan, Hacksaw, Jim Duggan and Jake the Snake Roberts. Nobody expected him to pull that one out.
