00:00:00On the Amazing Race, Celebrity Edition.
00:00:03Let's go.
00:00:03Come on, come on, come on.
00:00:04Let's move.
00:00:05After three massive legs racing across Nepal.
00:00:09Kathmandu, fresh Kathmandu.
00:00:11I was a Kathmandu.
00:00:12Flying to Uzbekistan.
00:00:15Uzbekistan.
00:00:17I don't know anything about it.
00:00:18Let's go.
00:00:20Tonight.
00:00:21Good morning, Uzbekistan.
00:00:24Excitement for a country never explored in race history.
00:00:30Come on.
00:00:31Turns into frustration.
00:00:33I'm begging you.
00:00:33Please, please, please.
00:00:34Yes.
00:00:36No.
00:00:37Oh my gosh.
00:00:37I wanted to kick everything.
00:00:39Oh, you lost it.
00:00:41Are you, you're not okay?
00:00:43Are you just shut up?
00:01:00Oh my gosh.
00:01:16Oh.
00:01:17Oh.
00:01:17The crown of Central Asia, Uzbekistan is a place where east meets west.
00:01:39A land where temperatures soar one day, plunge the next, and history runs deep all year round.
00:01:46At its centre, lies Samarkand.
00:01:50For centuries, it was the Silk Road's busiest hub.
00:01:54A legacy still seen in its architecture, bazaars, and echoes of empires past.
00:02:00Knowledge, goods, arts, and culture might have travelled through here, but no version of the Amazing Race ever has.
00:02:08So, in a world first, Uzbekistan is the start of the fourth leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:02:16Our ten remaining celeb teams have made the 16-hour trek from Nepal to Samarkand via Istanbul.
00:02:23We're leaving Nepal! We're still in the game!
00:02:26Woo!
00:02:27We've got a big nine-hour flight, stopover, and then another four-hour flight.
00:02:32Princess.
00:02:34She looks good in economy.
00:02:35Princess is always in economy.
00:02:37At Summer Camp, they'll be released in the order they arrived at the last pit stop.
00:02:44Good morning, Uzbekistan!
00:02:45No Amazing Race has ever been to Uzbekistan before.
00:02:49And we're about to find out why.
00:02:51Salam!
00:02:52This is our first time being in first position, and we don't really feel particularly comfortable being there.
00:02:56When you're in first position, there's only one way to go, isn't there?
00:02:59And that's down.
00:03:00You're leading the pack, and you've got a target on your back.
00:03:02Ready?
00:03:03The taxis are there.
00:03:04Where are we going?
00:03:05To Registan University, please.
00:03:08Registan Square.
00:03:09Registan Square.
00:03:10Our celebs are racing to the Registan, the city's crown jewel, stacked with more tiles than a century's worth of home renners.
00:03:18Today, it's where they'll find their first clue.
00:03:21They've got brooms instead of leaf blowers.
00:03:23Love it.
00:03:24It is cold.
00:03:25It's raining.
00:03:26It is cold.
00:03:26It's just a completely different change of pace.
00:03:29Okay, so salomas, hello.
00:03:30What's thank you?
00:03:31Ah, rachma.
00:03:33And a country we would probably never, ever go to on a holiday.
00:03:36Nope.
00:03:37I didn't even know it existed.
00:03:38Look at that thing.
00:03:39Sick.
00:03:39That's so cool.
00:03:40They're not worried about the cold.
00:03:41I'm already obsessed with Uzbekistan.
00:03:44Uzbek obsessed.
00:03:48Look at this.
00:03:50That looks beautiful.
00:03:51I think that is where we're going.
00:03:53Ooh.
00:03:54That looks pretty cool.
00:03:55I can't say I've ever been in a place quite like Registan Square.
00:03:58It's also known as Registan University, and I spent very little time at university when I went.
00:04:02So, you know, I've probably seen as much of Registan Square as I saw at the inside of RMIT.
00:04:09Black mark.
00:04:09Black mark.
00:04:12Go, let's go, let's go.
00:04:14Oh, sorry, Marks.
00:04:16There's the clerk of beauty.
00:04:17There we go.
00:04:18Rip and read.
00:04:19Morning, ladies.
00:04:19Morning.
00:04:20Morning.
00:04:20This place is beautiful.
00:04:22Stunning.
00:04:23Absolutely incredible.
00:04:24Absolutely stunning.
00:04:25All right, let's get this.
00:04:25Go rip read.
00:04:26Rip, rip.
00:04:28All right, rude info.
00:04:30Welcome to Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
00:04:33Search the Registan for a local bread seller.
00:04:35Inspired by an Uzbek tradition for a safe journey.
00:04:37And eat sacred bread with Kurdic fat.
00:04:39Oh, it's eating.
00:04:40In Uzbekistan, bread is sacred.
00:04:44When babies are born, bread's placed underneath the cradle to bring them good luck.
00:04:47Newlyweds share bread together for their first meal, and it's traditionally eaten at the beginning of every journey.
00:04:54That's dense.
00:04:59In this challenge, teams must collect a loaf of traditional bread from a local bread seller and eat the entire round between them.
00:05:07Now, of course, we'd never ask them to eat just dry bread.
00:05:11So, our celebs are going to get a side dish of fried fat, which is called kurduk, which may make the bread easier to swallow, or it may not.
00:05:19Let's give it a try anyway.
00:05:20Can I have some?
00:05:21Uh-huh.
00:05:23Oh, that is so cold.
00:05:25Shit in, shit in.
00:05:27I thought it'd be like pork belly.
00:05:29Once they've eaten every last bite of the bread and the fat, to the seller's satisfaction, they'll receive their next clue.
00:05:37It's really good.
00:05:38It's really good.
00:05:38Look at the beautiful tiles.
00:05:47A traditional bread seller.
00:05:48Wow, check this out.
00:05:50How amazing is this?
00:05:53Inside the square, is that a traditional bread seller?
00:05:55This looks like it's a bread seller.
00:05:57Salaam.
00:05:58Salaam.
00:06:00Rahmat.
00:06:01Rahmat.
00:06:02Ah-huh.
00:06:04I'm a young man.
00:06:06Rahmat.
00:06:06We go and collect the loaf of bread.
00:06:09I should say, yeah.
00:06:11Loaf of bread.
00:06:11That was a heavy loaf of bread.
00:06:14Which one do you want?
00:06:14Big one?
00:06:15I'll have the smaller one.
00:06:16The smaller one.
00:06:16We'll just just stack it.
00:06:17Yeah.
00:06:18You can build houses with this bread.
00:06:20It had a density that reminded me of his brain.
00:06:24There we go.
00:06:27But the good news is, they're going to give us little cubes of congealed fat to wash it down.
00:06:32Mmm, breakfast of champions.
00:06:35It's funny, but you don't want to knead you around it.
00:06:38It's because of the meat it came off.
00:06:40I say, Alan, look at it.
00:06:43And a piece of bread.
00:06:45It's a big piece of bread.
00:06:46All right, thank you very much.
00:06:47Dom and Marks, they have red-hot chances to link right out there.
00:06:50They've got strong jaws.
00:06:51Have a look at them.
00:06:51We know that Marks is the human hoover.
00:06:59How cool are these buildings?
00:07:00This is nuts.
00:07:02Holy heck.
00:07:03How old are these, do you reckon?
00:07:05Thousands of years.
00:07:06I want to do our bathroom, all like that.
00:07:11Let's go.
00:07:13Oh, this is beautiful.
00:07:16Hey!
00:07:21Where's the bread?
00:07:22Bread?
00:07:23Bread, bread.
00:07:24Wow.
00:07:27Oh my gosh, thank you.
00:07:29I thought that was the bread.
00:07:31This is just a fact.
00:07:32Oh, that's a lot of bread.
00:07:34We all love bread.
00:07:35Who doesn't love a carb load?
00:07:36I wonder if Mel's critiquing the bread.
00:07:39The bread's quite...
00:07:41Dense.
00:07:42Dense.
00:07:43Oh, save me some fat.
00:07:44God, I love that stuff.
00:07:45Any kind of cured fats like that are beautiful.
00:07:48They're salty, they're smoky, they're rich.
00:07:51Oh!
00:07:51Oh, that was not good.
00:07:53What was that?
00:07:54Bit of fat.
00:07:54Calm down.
00:07:56You have these beautiful toasted spices on the outside,
00:07:58and cumin is definitely the one that came out to me.
00:08:02Oh, I hate pear.
00:08:03I could just imagine that's, you know,
00:08:05sort of spread over warm bread.
00:08:07With a glass of wine, a really nice view.
00:08:12What a luxury.
00:08:14Done.
00:08:15Fat on warm bread.
00:08:16Oh!
00:08:18Stop it.
00:08:20Oh!
00:08:20Not on my fat.
00:08:22Let's go.
00:08:26Not waiting for tourists today, Luke.
00:08:28How's it going?
00:08:30How's it going?
00:08:31Oh, that's the fat.
00:08:33And that's the bread.
00:08:34I can't eat the bread.
00:08:35I have allergies.
00:08:37Allergy access to nuts and sesame,
00:08:40and there could be sesame in the bread,
00:08:41so I have to sit this one out.
00:08:42Start chomping away, Luke.
00:08:43Luke has to eat the biggest wheel of bread
00:08:46I've ever seen in my life,
00:08:46and I said I'll eat the fat easy.
00:08:48I'm loving the fat.
00:08:50I know how good is the fat.
00:08:52I'm not.
00:08:52Do you want some fat to break your bread down?
00:08:54No, I can't put more in my fat.
00:08:56I should eat a bit of bread?
00:08:57No, you'll die.
00:08:58Imagine if the one challenge we catch up on
00:09:00is an eating challenge.
00:09:02And it's an eating fat challenge.
00:09:04And everyone at home is going to be like,
00:09:05well, of course.
00:09:07Look, there's Steph and Ben over there.
00:09:10They're about to start and we're about to finish.
00:09:11That's a really good sign.
00:09:12We're going to have an empty mouth before we present.
00:09:14You can do it.
00:09:15Yes, Burns.
00:09:15Yes.
00:09:16Let's go.
00:09:17Rakamat.
00:09:18So good.
00:09:19You got it, man?
00:09:24They got here third and they've already finished.
00:09:26What the hell?
00:09:27Bottomless pitch.
00:09:30Rakamat.
00:09:31Rakamat.
00:09:31Rakamat.
00:09:32We don't need to wait for another couple of days.
00:09:36Detour.
00:09:37Fruit or veg?
00:09:39Teams are now making their way on foot
00:09:41along the old Silk Road trading route
00:09:43to the Sea of Bazaar.
00:09:45The beating heart of this trading empire.
00:09:47For over a thousand years it has stood right here
00:09:52trading in textiles, dried fruit and spices.
00:09:56And today our celebrity teams will need to make the choice
00:09:59between fruit or veg.
00:10:02You know what they say,
00:10:04an apple a day keeps the hypothermia away.
00:10:08Teams that choose fruit must press, bottle and sell
00:10:11the juice of Uzbekistan's national fruit,
00:10:14the pomegranate, using traditional equipment.
00:10:17Can't be that hard.
00:10:18Here we go.
00:10:19Oh, yeah.
00:10:21Oh.
00:10:22It's OK, guys.
00:10:23Under control.
00:10:24I've got this.
00:10:26Now pressing it and bottling it is one thing,
00:10:28but selling it, well,
00:10:29that is a whole different situation.
00:10:33Our celebs must name their price
00:10:35and get attention any way they know how.
00:10:37All right.
00:10:38Pomegranate juice, half price.
00:10:40Buy one, get six free.
00:10:41Better than theirs and theirs.
00:10:43Best pomegranate in Uzbekistan.
00:10:45But once teams have sold enough juice
00:10:47to earn 200,000 Uzbek som,
00:10:50which is about 25 Australian bucks,
00:10:52they'll receive their next clue.
00:10:54Hot price, hot price.
00:10:55Hot price, man.
00:10:57Teams who choose veg must get market-ready,
00:11:00sea-op style.
00:11:02In this challenge,
00:11:03our celebs must recreate a seller's stall
00:11:05by sorting and stacking
00:11:07a towering veggie pyramid into their types.
00:11:09Beech roots, potatoes, golden carrots
00:11:13and these green things
00:11:14that are actually radishes.
00:11:16It's all about height
00:11:18and keeping it upright.
00:11:20Their work will be judged
00:11:21by a real sea-op seller.
00:11:23And if their stack's up to scratch,
00:11:25they'll receive their next clue.
00:11:27Ooh, let's veg out.
00:11:28Veg, let's go.
00:11:29I think veg.
00:11:30I think veg, too.
00:11:31All right.
00:11:31I'd rather do work.
00:11:32I think our choice is pretty clear.
00:11:34It's pretty obvious.
00:11:35Manual labour.
00:11:36Veg is yellow,
00:11:37so follow the yellow arrows.
00:11:39There is so much happening
00:11:41the second we walk into the market.
00:11:43This place is huge.
00:11:45So many people in one small little place.
00:11:48We're dodging people left and right.
00:11:49Here we go.
00:11:51All right, now.
00:11:52Salaam.
00:11:53Salaam.
00:11:53Okay, so we need to stack them like this.
00:11:55So get bags and fill them with these
00:11:57and stack them like this.
00:11:59Okay.
00:11:59So we've got potatoes
00:12:01and good thanks
00:12:02and thanks for coming
00:12:03and hay gown.
00:12:04I don't know what those other dishes would.
00:12:06They appear...
00:12:07No, there were some carrots.
00:12:08Oh, no.
00:12:08Were they carrots?
00:12:09Yeah, they were just fat carrots.
00:12:10Okay.
00:12:10Let's get them settled up,
00:12:11settled in, Steve,
00:12:12so you can stack them.
00:12:14We sort of figure out,
00:12:15okay, we've got to stack them
00:12:16exactly like the display
00:12:17and that just meant
00:12:18we just had to sort out
00:12:20the four different vegetables
00:12:21and get them into the four bags.
00:12:22When you go,
00:12:24just arrange all the other things
00:12:25in a little pile, yeah?
00:12:26Between fruit and veg.
00:12:27I think I've chosen the easier one.
00:12:29Hello, curries.
00:12:30Thanks for finding it for us.
00:12:32Ha, ha, ha.
00:12:33Okay, so we've got to sort the veggies first
00:12:35and then we'll do the set-up, okay?
00:12:36New team outfit.
00:12:39Oh, I love it.
00:12:41Oh, it's so cool.
00:12:44Are you...
00:12:45You're not okay?
00:12:46Are you just shut up?
00:12:47Come on, just some more.
00:12:48Where have you got?
00:12:50Oh.
00:12:51Oh, I love it.
00:12:53Can you go any faster
00:12:54because we're going to get behind?
00:12:56One last bit.
00:12:57Go on, babe.
00:12:58That was great.
00:12:59All right, let's go.
00:13:00I'm almost done, honey.
00:13:01Oh, come on.
00:13:02How did we go?
00:13:02Are we okay?
00:13:03Thank you so much.
00:13:05Oh, thank you.
00:13:07All right.
00:13:08Fruit or veg?
00:13:09I think veg.
00:13:10Veg?
00:13:10So we're going to be veg?
00:13:11Yeah.
00:13:11All right, let's go.
00:13:12I'm pretty close to throwing up, to be honest.
00:13:16Oh, good.
00:13:16Okay, that's so good.
00:13:18Ben, we've just made up some time.
00:13:19I can't believe how many teams we just overtook.
00:13:22That's crazy.
00:13:24Step it up, Brendan.
00:13:29Hey!
00:13:30Why is the one thing we're good at eating bread?
00:13:32Eating bread.
00:13:33Fruit.
00:13:34I can sell.
00:13:34You can sell.
00:13:35I'll do it.
00:13:36It is a pretty good feeling that maybe we're not going to be last.
00:13:41Oh, thank you so much.
00:13:46Woo-hoo!
00:13:46Stop.
00:13:49Every time you talk, it makes me want to vomit.
00:13:51Stop.
00:13:52See, I'm trying to encourage you.
00:13:54Yeah, which makes me vomit.
00:14:00Don't make noises next to me, please.
00:14:03I actually will be sick.
00:14:04Sam, give me a minute to warm up to this.
00:14:07The bread's super hard and dense.
00:14:08I would say the bread was bigger than you when you came out as a baby.
00:14:13It was huge.
00:14:14It was way too much.
00:14:15Bread with some olive oil and some salt.
00:14:18Warm bread.
00:14:19Yum.
00:14:19With butter.
00:14:20Eating this is very different, though.
00:14:22There's no chance in hell that we're going to finish it.
00:14:25Follow the arrows and find the pomegranate area.
00:14:36The arrows?
00:14:37What arrows?
00:14:38Down to a market space.
00:14:43Oh, Tani.
00:14:44What?
00:14:45Where?
00:14:45I see a sign.
00:14:46Oh!
00:14:47Oh, babe.
00:14:48Good spotting.
00:14:49Far out.
00:14:51Fruit.
00:14:51Where are they moving it?
00:14:52They're moving the thing.
00:14:53Yeah, that's right.
00:14:57Can you see the signs?
00:14:58Yep.
00:14:58Let's look at the signs first.
00:15:00Okay.
00:15:01I don't know what that says.
00:15:02Okay.
00:15:02Those aren't in English.
00:15:04Today, we have the choice of stacking vegetables in a particular way in the markets or to juice
00:15:11bottle and sell pomegranate juice.
00:15:14Fresh fruit.
00:15:16Fresh fruit.
00:15:17Pomegranate.
00:15:18Fruit.
00:15:18Pomegranate.
00:15:19Fruit.
00:15:20Fruit.
00:15:20Fruit.
00:15:23Here.
00:15:24Here.
00:15:24What?
00:15:25Right here.
00:15:26It's marked.
00:15:26It's marked.
00:15:27Oh, it's there.
00:15:27Can we do juicing with you?
00:15:29Juicing?
00:15:31To juice pomegranate's not super familiar and I've been the judge but never the competitor.
00:15:36All right.
00:15:37Cut the top off.
00:15:38Yep.
00:15:39It's time I put my money where my mouth is.
00:15:42I think we need to lean into our hospitality experience and understand that it's about the
00:15:47same movements, just repetition, repetition and just doing it well.
00:15:51Okay.
00:15:52Not too many bags.
00:15:53I'll sell you juice.
00:15:55Yes?
00:15:55Yeah.
00:15:56Good play?
00:15:57Yeah.
00:15:57Our thought process is, okay, juicing won't be that hard.
00:16:01Okay, so then you're just going to pour them into bottles.
00:16:04Do you want me to uncap the bottles?
00:16:05Wait for you, like waiting for you?
00:16:07I'm pretty sure I can sell this to people because I have zero shame and I'm full of bread.
00:16:14You all right?
00:16:15Yeah.
00:16:16Okay.
00:16:16Hello.
00:16:17Would anybody like some juice?
00:16:19Pomegranate juice.
00:16:20Pomegranate juice.
00:16:21Come on, the home stretch look.
00:16:32Rip it off.
00:16:32Let's go.
00:16:35Last isn't an option today.
00:16:36Like you're going to eat.
00:16:37Chew.
00:16:38I don't want to hear it.
00:16:39Get the job done.
00:16:41Go on, you can finish.
00:16:42Uh-uh.
00:16:43With the share.
00:16:45Come on, the last bit.
00:16:46Don't talk.
00:16:46Let's just eat it.
00:16:47Okay, plate.
00:16:48Okay, bag.
00:16:49Shut up.
00:16:50What?
00:16:50I have to have bread empty now.
00:16:52I'm ready when you are.
00:16:54Swallow.
00:16:56I just want to put some jam on it.
00:16:59I feel like I'm going to vomit on this.
00:17:00Don't talk.
00:17:05Ah, raskar.
00:17:08Very delicious meals, bread.
00:17:11All right.
00:17:14All right, let's go.
00:17:15I don't know how this happened, but we finished the challenge.
00:17:18We might be able to catch up.
00:17:21It was beautiful.
00:17:24One, two, three.
00:17:25You're doing it at an angle.
00:17:27What?
00:17:27Oh, my God, Scott.
00:17:29It's not me.
00:17:30It's a printer.
00:17:31One, two.
00:17:33Detour.
00:17:34Okay, fruit or veg?
00:17:35Fruit.
00:17:36What do you want to do?
00:17:36Let's do fruit.
00:17:37Okay, let's do it.
00:17:38Fruit, let's go.
00:17:38Let's go.
00:17:39Okay, let's ask somebody where the bazaar is.
00:17:42We separate them?
00:17:43Bazaar?
00:17:44Okay.
00:17:44Here we go.
00:17:45Which one do you want to go for, babe?
00:17:47Uh, I'll go the orange.
00:17:48Orange?
00:17:48Is that a carrot?
00:17:49That's yellow.
00:17:50Okay, let's move.
00:17:52Okay.
00:17:53All right, well, let's start picking fruit from the front.
00:17:55Yeah, this is going to collapse anyway.
00:17:57Just take it.
00:17:58You've got to take it from the front.
00:17:58Yeah, it'll collapse.
00:18:00Yeah.
00:18:00But we'll have the fruit we want at the front.
00:18:03Okay, so we're going to do a second each.
00:18:05Start begging them.
00:18:06I'll do yellows.
00:18:08All right, so with that on there, so it's green, then the spuds.
00:18:11We are stacking some vegetables.
00:18:14This guy has history.
00:18:16Good afternoon, shoppers, and welcome to Safeway Ballward.
00:18:19Make your way down to the fruit and veg department this afternoon
00:18:21where you'll find a plethora of savings.
00:18:24In a previous career, I was assistant manager of the produce department
00:18:28at Safeway Ballward.
00:18:29Assistant to the assistant.
00:18:30Assistant to the assistant.
00:18:31But he stacked.
00:18:32I stacked fruit, vegetables.
00:18:35Steve, I reckon I'm a pretty good stacker.
00:18:37He's like, he's effectively quasi-professional still.
00:18:41Here we go, last two.
00:18:43And I reckon we're good, Steve-O.
00:18:44Okay.
00:18:45All right, check, please.
00:18:46Check, please.
00:18:48Oh, are you kidding me?
00:18:51How are we going to put the top of that stick?
00:18:57When this woman brings out her stick, the height stick,
00:19:00we realise that we have a long way to go.
00:19:04And just trying to find a little bit of purchase to actually rest things on,
00:19:08it's not as easy as it seems.
00:19:12So we can move them all over a bit then.
00:19:14Yeah, they're kind of, it's like they're using the split to balance it out.
00:19:19Bernie and Steven, I feel like they're going pretty much pace for pace with us.
00:19:23Oh, I am going full Jenga vibes here, Burns.
00:19:26But the veg is manual labour, and that's what we do best.
00:19:30Go, stop.
00:19:31Marks and I used to be garbage men together.
00:19:34Whee!
00:19:35That was our whole lifestyle.
00:19:37So anything physical, we're going to nail it.
00:19:40Stack it up containers way too full is a bit of a garbo skill.
00:19:44Yeah, yeah, it's a garbage bin skill.
00:19:46This challenge, it's about the height of the stack.
00:19:49This is just like recycling, isn't it?
00:19:50Yep.
00:19:51So we developed a spiral stacking technique.
00:19:53We're going to build a solid base and then build a pyramid up from that.
00:19:59So yeah, we want to create like this spherical shape on top, Marks.
00:20:03It works really well as well.
00:20:05Oh, look at that.
00:20:06See how much better that looks, Marks?
00:20:07Yeah.
00:20:08Hi, Bev, I'll take a bottle.
00:20:09Bev!
00:20:10Freshly squeezed.
00:20:11Come and buy some, boys.
00:20:15Okay, all right, here we go.
00:20:16Take the leaves off.
00:20:17I'm going to start filling.
00:20:18Then you start chopping them, and I'm going to squeeze them.
00:20:21Hi.
00:20:21Hey, girls.
00:20:22Hi.
00:20:22You know what you're doing?
00:20:23Have fun.
00:20:24Come get Australian juice.
00:20:27Fresh from our beautiful country.
00:20:29That's a lie.
00:20:30You can't false advertise.
00:20:31Yeah, you can.
00:20:32You can't.
00:20:33Get your juice.
00:20:33How much does a bottle of juice go for around here?
00:20:36I have no idea.
00:20:37There are layers to the challenge.
00:20:38It's not only the process-driven part of it to make the juice, then to bottle the juice,
00:20:44but then to sell the juice.
00:20:45That's not easy when you don't speak the language.
00:20:48This is a tough crowd, man.
00:20:49Hello.
00:20:51You want?
00:20:5120,000.
00:20:52Huh?
00:20:5320.
00:20:5310,000.
00:20:54The thing is, the problem that I'm worried about is that we've got to bloody sell these things
00:20:58when you don't speak Uzbekistanian.
00:21:02Come get a juice off my beautiful daughter.
00:21:04Come on, let's go.
00:21:06Juice, juice, juice.
00:21:07Fev is so engaging.
00:21:10One bottle?
00:21:11Thank you so much.
00:21:11Thank you so much.
00:21:13Enjoy.
00:21:14Woohoo.
00:21:15We made money.
00:21:16Are they actually selling?
00:21:18They're quicker.
00:21:18I know.
00:21:18Are they?
00:21:19Top to toe dressed in pink.
00:21:21Thank you so much.
00:21:22Thank you very much.
00:21:23Yay.
00:21:24That's a spectacle in and of itself, so we know that that will draw a crowd just because
00:21:29Fev is Fev.
00:21:35Get your polygranate.
00:21:36On me granite.
00:21:37Polygranate.
00:21:38On me granite.
00:21:39On me granite.
00:21:41Can't even pronounce it.
00:21:44God.
00:21:44Like we're having so much fun.
00:21:46We've got a good system going to not get on each other's nerves.
00:21:4920.
00:21:4920.
00:21:5020.
00:21:50Yay.
00:21:53Lenny's dancing, selling it.
00:21:56It was fun.
00:21:57We had a great time.
00:21:58We had a great time.
00:21:59Fresh Aussie juice.
00:22:01Yeah?
00:22:02Oh my.
00:22:0320.
00:22:0320.
00:22:03No, thank you.
00:22:07Oh, thank you.
00:22:10Thank you very much.
00:22:10How much is that?
00:22:12Oh, that's 100.
00:22:13Yeah.
00:22:14I don't know.
00:22:14Yeah, take all of them.
00:22:16Take all of them.
00:22:17We're done.
00:22:20Woo-hoo.
00:22:20Thank you so much.
00:22:21Thank you so much.
00:22:22How did they get?
00:22:23I don't know.
00:22:25We were like, whoa, isn't this amazing?
00:22:27Let's go.
00:22:27Let's go.
00:22:27We come out.
00:22:28We're in first.
00:22:29We're in one pulling of a juice of a polygranate.
00:22:32What are they called again?
00:22:32Pomegranate.
00:22:33Pomegranate.
00:22:33Catch a taxi to the old Samarkin theatre.
00:22:36Learn to perform an ancient folk dance and receive your next clue.
00:22:46The Andijan polka is a traditional Uzbek folk dance,
00:22:50which is used to express a specific emotion through a precise rhythm and pace.
00:22:56Now, it's highly technical.
00:22:58With fast footwork and expressive hand movements, it's no easy feat.
00:23:04Teams will need a local pro to show them how it's done.
00:23:09Once they've got it down, they'll perform for an Uzbek dance master.
00:23:12If they're in sync, they'll learn their next clue.
00:23:15So our celebs are going to have their work cut out for them.
00:23:19But you know what?
00:23:20At least they're going to look good doing it.
00:23:22Hey!
00:23:26Come on, let's go this way, this way, this way, this way.
00:23:28Let's go.
00:23:30We can't dance to save ourselves.
00:23:32No, I can't dance.
00:23:34Get to a roundabout, maybe another sort of six inches.
00:23:37I reckon, though, going up high with these.
00:23:39I reckon the red, red, reddy is what we want to get at.
00:23:42Looking G to the O to the double O, D.
00:23:45Okay.
00:23:46I'm happy with that.
00:23:48Judgment, please.
00:23:49There we go.
00:23:50That's light on the level.
00:23:51I reckon they look pretty on point.
00:23:57Yes!
00:23:58We did it!
00:23:59Yes.
00:24:01Rachmat.
00:24:01Rachmat.
00:24:02All right, let's go get our bags.
00:24:03Rachmat.
00:24:04All right, what have we got?
00:24:05What have we got?
00:24:06Catch a taxi to the old Samarkand theatre.
00:24:08Learn and perform an ancient folk dance to receive your next clue.
00:24:11Okay, that sounds like fun.
00:24:12Let's go.
00:24:13I'm excited that the next challenge is dancing.
00:24:16We used to play Just Dance together when we lived together, and you were pretty good.
00:24:20Yeah.
00:24:20But as we leave, that's the favolas right there, boss.
00:24:24We see Lenny and Brendan in front of us.
00:24:29Hello, lads.
00:24:30Good to see you guys.
00:24:31Who's still there?
00:24:32Every other team.
00:24:33Woo!
00:24:34In multiple legs so far, they've been on our tails.
00:24:38Or just in front of us.
00:24:39Are you guys first from yours?
00:24:41Yeah.
00:24:41Cool.
00:24:42Top two, baby.
00:24:43The pink team versus the red team.
00:24:44And it's on!
00:24:46The rivalry!
00:24:47Woo!
00:24:48Ah!
00:24:49Ah!
00:24:50Come on!
00:24:53The problem with Dom and Marks is, Dom is a dancer.
00:24:57And he dance.
00:24:58Oh, they're going to eat this up.
00:24:59They're going to eat this up.
00:25:01You are the sexiest fruit seller in the market today.
00:25:29So we're in this giant open-air marketplace with fruits and vegetables, spices.
00:25:36This is all of my favourite stuff in the world.
00:25:39Today we need a focus.
00:25:40We've got vegetables to stack.
00:25:43Yeah.
00:25:43Don't just chuck them on willy-nilly.
00:25:45Yeah.
00:25:45Thanks for listening.
00:25:47I was!
00:25:49Here, let me lift the bag up.
00:25:50No, no, no, no, no.
00:25:51It's okay.
00:25:51It's okay.
00:25:52It's okay.
00:25:52Keep it going.
00:25:53Keep on.
00:25:54I think we're just trying to go for height now, babe.
00:25:55Yep.
00:25:56We're looking at this going, this is easy.
00:25:58We just make a little pyramid.
00:25:59Boom.
00:25:59We should be done within, I'm thinking, 10 minutes.
00:26:02I don't think we can squeeze anymore in there, babe.
00:26:05But we can see everyone really struggling.
00:26:08No.
00:26:09Okay, higher.
00:26:10Oh, that's way above the stick.
00:26:11Yeah!
00:26:12Oh, that's a good one.
00:26:13That's a good one.
00:26:14Oh, damn it.
00:26:15It's a bit, it's a bit straight.
00:26:16Higher, higher.
00:26:17All right.
00:26:18Okay, so, we're too low.
00:26:21Duck much.
00:26:21Duck much.
00:26:23Yes.
00:26:24Yes.
00:26:26No!
00:26:27Oh, my gosh.
00:26:28I'm so mad at myself because this is my favourite thing.
00:26:32Stacking vegetables.
00:26:33Not stacking vegetables.
00:26:34Sorry.
00:26:34Not stacking vegetables.
00:26:35Figuring out the puzzle, getting it exactly right, that attention to detail, I'm very good at.
00:26:40And we completely stuffed it.
00:26:42Oh, I'm so over it.
00:26:44And I wanted to kick everything.
00:26:46Oh, you lost it.
00:26:47Far out.
00:26:49The only other time I've seen Georgie act this way is during a State of Origin game, when Queensland
00:26:54is down and there's minutes to go.
00:26:57You, beach roots.
00:27:01Here we go.
00:27:02It's upside down, though.
00:27:03I know, isn't that the sexiest thing I've ever seen?
00:27:06Okay.
00:27:07Okay, check.
00:27:08Can I fill the potatoes?
00:27:10Yeah.
00:27:10Yeah, a few more.
00:27:11I've got to go around here.
00:27:12Okay.
00:27:13Check.
00:27:14Oh, she's got a...
00:27:15Oh, yes.
00:27:16Perfect.
00:27:17That's perfect.
00:27:17Oh.
00:27:18Perfect.
00:27:19Go.
00:27:21Oh, thank you.
00:27:23Come on.
00:27:24Come on.
00:27:25Ah.
00:27:27Is she going to say yes?
00:27:28Oh, yay.
00:27:33Oh, she said yes.
00:27:34They've got it.
00:27:34Okay.
00:27:35Patentas, patentas.
00:27:36We're nearly there.
00:27:36We're nearly there.
00:27:37I wasn't having it.
00:27:38I'm so worried because we don't know what's happening with the pomegranate situation either.
00:27:43For all we know, that entire group has already finished and they're already on their way to
00:27:48the next League of the Challenge.
00:27:50Maybe the juice was easier.
00:27:51Maybe.
00:27:52Maybe.
00:27:52Maybe.
00:27:53Maybe.
00:27:53Maybe.
00:27:53Maybe.
00:27:58Me and Dad's about juice.
00:28:00It's a juicing dance.
00:28:02Yes.
00:28:03Would you like a juice?
00:28:06Who would like a juice from me?
00:28:08My strategy to sell the juice is just leave all shame and composure at the door.
00:28:16We got the juice.
00:28:18We got the juice.
00:28:19I'm out there.
00:28:20I'm getting attention.
00:28:21We're getting people in.
00:28:22Okay.
00:28:23Is it making a happy land?
00:28:25Yes, please.
00:28:26We'll do it.
00:28:27Okay, that's four juices here.
00:28:29Oh, amazing.
00:28:31Scott, let's just go wild.
00:28:32I'm hanging off a juicer in the middle of a market in Uzbekistan.
00:28:36You're selling.
00:28:37You're hustling on the street.
00:28:38Hustler, baby.
00:28:39Scott says he can hustle.
00:28:41Let's see if he can.
00:28:42Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Sassy Scott Bazaar.
00:28:46It's great to be here this morning.
00:28:48Now I have the best pomegranate juice.
00:28:50Come on.
00:28:51Who wants some fresh pomegranate juice?
00:28:53Hustlers got to hustle.
00:28:55Girls got to pay rent.
00:28:57Please, come on.
00:28:58One.
00:28:5920,000.
00:29:00Come on.
00:29:01Let's go.
00:29:02I've never juiced like this in my life.
00:29:04The challenge was never selling the juice.
00:29:07It was making enough juice to keep up.
00:29:09Thank you so much.
00:29:10Have a lovely day.
00:29:13Thank you, Sarah.
00:29:15Link.
00:29:16Another one.
00:29:17Ah.
00:29:17Come here.
00:29:22Scott.
00:29:22Come on.
00:29:23Concentrate.
00:29:23I am concentrating.
00:29:24We're very far behind.
00:29:2730,000, please.
00:29:28Please.
00:29:29I'm begging you.
00:29:30No, they are begging.
00:29:32Please, Mama.
00:29:33Please.
00:29:33Oh, I understand.
00:29:34No.
00:29:3615.
00:29:3720, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20.
00:29:38Come on, 20, 20, 20.
00:29:40It's good for your heart.
00:29:41It's good for your soul.
00:29:41It's good for your marriage.
00:29:43All right.
00:29:45Dignity.
00:29:45Don't know what that is.
00:29:46No.
00:29:46Who is she?
00:29:48Yes!
00:29:49My man!
00:29:50Yes!
00:29:51Yes!
00:29:52What a fit!
00:29:55What a...
00:29:565, 10.
00:29:58You're a good man.
00:29:59Thank you so much.
00:30:00Yes!
00:30:01Uzbekistan!
00:30:02Check.
00:30:04Are we good, sir?
00:30:07Yes!
00:30:09Yes!
00:30:10Thank you so much.
00:30:12Yes.
00:30:13Well, that's a good sign.
00:30:14Good rip.
00:30:15Good sign.
00:30:15Catch a taxi to the old Samkahn Theatre.
00:30:17Learn and perform an ancient folk dance.
00:30:19To receive your next clue.
00:30:21We're going to dance.
00:30:23We're heading to a theatre and we don't know what we're about to do,
00:30:25but we know what happens in theatres.
00:30:27There's singing and dancing.
00:30:29All right.
00:30:29Let's go.
00:30:31Johnny, we're going to Samkahn.
00:30:34It would be so cool if there was a Mark taxi out here.
00:30:36I have a feeling we're going to have to make it all the way back.
00:30:39The next challenge involves learning a cultural dance from this area
00:30:44and that's super cool.
00:30:46Taxi?
00:30:46But, oh God, we are lost.
00:30:50We are really, really lost.
00:30:52No, no, no.
00:30:52Here first.
00:30:53You can't see any amazing race flag markers anywhere,
00:30:59so we know we're in the wrong area.
00:31:01Yeah, Pakova.
00:31:02Pakovka.
00:31:02Pakava.
00:31:03Yeah.
00:31:04We see these group of gentlemen and we ask them which way to go.
00:31:08Pakovka.
00:31:09Back onto the main road.
00:31:12And they all start pointing in other directions.
00:31:15Can you help?
00:31:17Pakovka.
00:31:18Back that way.
00:31:21Straight.
00:31:22Shit.
00:31:23The panic really starts to set in.
00:31:25We have a race to run and we don't know where we are.
00:31:29And I think this is it.
00:31:30I think we have to go back in.
00:31:31All right, that's okay.
00:31:40We get dropped off.
00:31:42It's a bit quicker than me.
00:31:43We can't see Dom and Marks.
00:31:45We're feeling great.
00:31:46We're just cruising.
00:31:47But then when we got down to the clue box...
00:31:50What's the cross mean?
00:31:53Intersection.
00:31:54Does that mean we're at the crossroads?
00:31:56Hello there.
00:31:58Hey.
00:31:59Fancy meeting you here.
00:32:00Is an intersection both of us?
00:32:03An intersection is where two teams must pair up to complete a challenge.
00:32:08Here they can choose whichever team they want to join forces with to perform this complex Uzbek folk dance.
00:32:14Get the popcorn out.
00:32:16I'm excited that the next challenge is with Brendan and Lenny.
00:32:20This is cool.
00:32:21I think the combination of experience and youth will give us an advantage because Brendan is a high-level athlete in his heyday.
00:32:29And one thing athletes know how to do is move their body.
00:32:34One, two, three, four.
00:32:36One, two, three, four.
00:32:39One, two, one, two.
00:32:41One, two, one.
00:32:44Jump.
00:32:44One, two, one, two.
00:32:47One, two, three.
00:32:51One, two, one, two, three, four, one.
00:32:56Hey!
00:32:57Hey!
00:32:58All right.
00:33:00We're very fortunate that we're doing this next challenge with another team because Dom does everything.
00:33:07We know that anything to do with dancing, Dom is the man.
00:33:11After you.
00:33:14But...
00:33:15Poor Dom and Mark stuck with us.
00:33:17Okay, this way, our practice area.
00:33:20Careful of wet feet, guys.
00:33:21Oh, yeah.
00:33:26So, it's in cataphor.
00:33:30Okay.
00:33:31One, two.
00:33:34Rookie, руки.
00:33:36Way too quick.
00:33:37I've got none of that.
00:33:38Backstroke.
00:33:41Backstroke, backstroke.
00:33:43Backstroke, backstroke.
00:33:44Hang on.
00:33:47Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:33:48For the dumb people.
00:33:49Whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:33:50Step back.
00:33:51As we're practicing, it's pretty obvious.
00:33:53Let's start, guys.
00:33:54Is that it?
00:33:55No, no, no.
00:33:56It's like best in halfway.
00:33:57Brandon and Lenny can't dance.
00:33:59From the top.
00:34:00Stop.
00:34:05How do we fix that?
00:34:07Without it all falling down?
00:34:08This market is redonk.
00:34:11I think we got it.
00:34:11Should we get a little chip?
00:34:13Thank you very much.
00:34:16A good helper.
00:34:18A good helper.
00:34:20No?
00:34:21Okay.
00:34:22No?
00:34:22Go back.
00:34:23We just need to build more pyramids.
00:34:25Well, the first attempt at passing was a solid thumbs down.
00:34:30Okay, so it were too low.
00:34:32If we just kind of go back to the drawing board a little bit and undo the sticky tape.
00:34:36In terms of stacking the vegetables, it feels like there's kind of an engineering sort of
00:34:40aspect to this.
00:34:41So we have to change our strategy.
00:34:43And we have to actually open the bags up a little bit more to give the structure of the
00:34:48bags a little more height.
00:34:49So it feels like it's built in like a pyramid.
00:34:53From that point then, to be able to build our pyramidical shape to achieve the yardstick
00:34:58height.
00:34:59Pyramidical?
00:35:00Yes.
00:35:01Pyramidial.
00:35:02Pyramidial.
00:35:03Oh.
00:35:04Check please.
00:35:10Check.
00:35:12felt like mad, like mad.
00:35:16Oh.
00:35:19Thank you so much.
00:35:20Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:35:23Learn and perform an ancient folk dance to receive your next clue.
00:35:28We're so far behind now.
00:35:29behind now. We're not, we're like a couple minutes behind. Also, you love to dance, I love to dance.
00:35:35We're just learning the steps. I'm loving the positivity. Right side. Parkour. Yeah.
00:35:43Okay. Thank you. After doing a massive circle around the market, we are very relieved when we
00:35:50jump into that taxi and we head on to the next destination. We got lost. We got lost hard. We
00:35:55really should have just asked for where the parking was, which makes a lot of sense because
00:35:58how many markets have we been to? We have to keep moving. Every single second that we aren't
00:36:03on a mission is a lost minute. Hopefully we'll be all right at it. Fingers crossed. I am not good
00:36:08at dancing. I'm going to put that out there right now. F tie sash. Okay. Let's do one more from the top.
00:36:19Keep listening. I'm going to call the whole thing. I'm going to call the whole thing guys. It's good.
00:36:23It's good. It's good. Just keep with me. No, you're good. You keep going bro. All right, ready?
00:36:26Oh my god. This is embarrassing. I have zero sense of rhythm.
00:36:33And I'm a real dancer about two in the morning. I can't get the feet. I keep stuffing it up at the end.
00:36:38All the shuffles with the shoulder. It's a real cool sort of sh...
00:36:45I got the moves. Good lord. But we've got a challenge. We have to dance and we've got the perfect
00:36:52instructor to teach us. Dom. And cross. Open. Two, three, four. And...
00:36:58Sleeve. Sleeve. Wash the hair. Belt.
00:37:02Praise. Two, three, four. Praise four times. Praise.
00:37:05Spin. And Toyota. Hey!
00:37:08Spin. Jump up. Toyota. Hey!
00:37:10Switching praise. Switchy feet. Switchy feet. Two spins in.
00:37:23He, he. Spin, spin, spin, spin, spin, spin. Hey!
00:37:26Yeah. I think I got that. Did I?
00:37:30Let's go. Let's go. At least we get to the demonstration before. Bye.
00:37:37And you wait here. Oh, there it is, mum. Come.
00:37:40Bye. Rahman. Here it is. This is gonna be it.
00:37:43Intersection. All right. Intersection.
00:37:46Do we want to do it with them? Or do we want to wait for the next people?
00:37:49Because the next people will probably be dodgy enrolled. Surely Gretel knows how to dance.
00:37:52I don't like intersection because I just don't like the idea of relying on another team for us to pass.
00:37:58You guys can dance? I can dance. Yeah, we can dance. We, we dance.
00:38:02Hey! Okay. Come on. I can't dance.
00:38:05You can dance. You can dance. I see down there. There's the marker. Arrow. Thanks, Johnny.
00:38:11Bye. Bye. Yeah. Bye-bye.
00:38:13Intersection. We dance with someone else. Yeah.
00:38:16We're gonna get close to the Curry's that were right behind us. I don't want to dance with them.
00:38:21We're gonna have to dance with them. Brothers and Brothers isn't my thing.
00:38:24Here we go. You wait. Wait here. Thank you.
00:38:27Okay. Yeah, this one. Scott, we are picking the next team. Oh, there's people coming.
00:38:34It's the Curry's. It's the Curry's. So we have, we're teaming up with the Curry's.
00:38:38They want to win. They're positive mindset. And they're actors, so they know how to dance.
00:38:41They're actors. And they might teach me how to dance. Okay.
00:38:44They might say no to us. Luke, you have to make sure that you give them
00:38:48confidence that you know how to dance. Do not give them anything else. Don't tell them you don't know how to dance.
00:38:52Is it us or you, is it? All right. All right. Let's do it.
00:38:57All right. Let's do it. Finally. All right. Let's go.
00:39:00We're dancing, baby. Yes. Let's go.
00:39:02You guys know choreography, right? Choreography.
00:39:08We could catch up to Steph and Ben, Mum, because they're still here.
00:39:12So, would you like to buy? No. Thank you.
00:39:14Oh!
00:39:16Ah! We're going to be here all day. I'm very frustrated.
00:39:21Like, somehow we're still here. Granata!
00:39:24Do you know what goes nice with bread? Is the juice. Just use your model looks and go sell us some.
00:39:33It's a market full of old men. Just go and stand out there and see what happens.
00:39:38Mum, look. 20,000. Buy one. 20,000.
00:39:41Oh, good. 20,000. Yes. Yes.
00:39:44We kind of took the more demure approach and just stayed put.
00:39:49Hello. Hi. Do you want to buy some juice? Thank you so much.
00:39:53You wouldn't have an extra 5,000 on you, would you?
00:39:56She's a really old model who still models now, but for older categories,
00:40:04which means she could... the older men would think that you're...
00:40:11I don't know. Oh, my God. We're on fire. We're on fire.
00:40:14Oh, my God. Can't your face off me. Six. Six. Eight. We've done it.
00:40:19Okay, let's go. Thank you. Thank you. Check, please.
00:40:22Surely. But we need a good comeback. Thank you. Thank you so much.
00:40:26Oh, thank you. Rockwood. Learn to perform an A-tune folk dance.
00:40:31Just to receive your next clue. Okay. Ben, Ben.
00:40:35Oh, yes. It's so warm in here. I'm doing a dance in Uzbekistan.
00:40:41I've had dancing vibes all day, actually. Dance to save out beehives.
00:40:47Yeah. Have we got words for all these?
00:40:49What's the time? What's the time? Crazy. Grate the cheese.
00:40:53Why, I order.
00:40:59Oh, okay. Boom, boom, boom.
00:41:04Look at my watch. Bracelet, hat, tie my belt. And one, two.
00:41:10I'm buggered off the bread. Don't. Don't kiss.
00:41:14Okay. Can we do it again? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and two, three.
00:41:21This dancing challenge, I can see Bernard's quite phenomenal.
00:41:25Five, six, seven, eight, and one, two, one, two.
00:41:29But the reality for me is watching Steve Curry and Luke try and dance.
00:41:35Oh. So we don't do that other thing for ages?
00:41:38Yeah. No.
00:41:39So move me. Do it again.
00:41:41Yeah. Would you pass us if we did it like that? Are we going to pass?
00:41:44So I can do it faster and then maybe.
00:41:52Spin and Toyota.
00:41:54Spin, spin, spin.
00:41:58Nah. Is that good? Yes.
00:42:00Is it? Yeah. No, I don't.
00:42:04Let's go. Bag drop. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, it's an intersection.
00:42:09What do you mean? So I've got to wait for people.
00:42:12It smokes the spot.
00:42:15We're doing this. Intersection, yes.
00:42:17We're doing it. We're doing it.
00:42:18Oh, yeah.
00:42:19An intersection, it's about working with another team for that challenge.
00:42:23All right, let's go. And I'm relieved because Rob has theatre background.
00:42:26He understands choreography. He calls it Corrie.
00:42:29That should say enough.
00:42:33So I know Rob, you know, he can lead us and carry us all through it.
00:42:41Oh, my God. It's an intersection. We need to wait for someone.
00:42:43We're just going to have to go with whoever.
00:42:45Whoever rocks up first, we just... Yeah.
00:42:47Okay, there's all the other teams. Everyone's dancing.
00:42:50It's an intersection, guys.
00:42:52It's a dancing challenge. It's a dancing challenge.
00:42:54Are you guys good dancers? We can dance, but not like professionals.
00:42:57Okay. Okay, Ben's a professional dancer. No, he's not.
00:42:59We're not professional, but we can dance.
00:43:02Okay, yeah.
00:43:03We just got to learn it quickly.
00:43:04Yeah.
00:43:05All right, let's do it.
00:43:06Let's do it.
00:43:07Now we're excited because we like to dance.
00:43:11One and two and kick and back.
00:43:14I danced for eight, nine years when I was a kid.
00:43:18Like, I love dancing.
00:43:20I'm just thinking about Corrie.
00:43:22It's really hard, but it becomes really clear to me very quickly
00:43:25that this team is going to be okay.
00:43:28Everyone's got rhythm, at least.
00:43:30Ta-da!
00:43:34The first thing I thought when I saw the dance was,
00:43:37oh, pretty quick.
00:43:38But Dom said straight away, we've got this.
00:43:40So I felt comfortable.
00:43:44Then all of a sudden, I'm actually getting a bit nervous.
00:43:47I actually feel sick.
00:43:49And one, two, three, four, five, six.
00:43:54Sleeve, sleeve, hair, sash, praise, two, three, four.
00:43:58Two, three, four.
00:43:59I stopped.
00:44:00I stuffed up.
00:44:02That was my fault.
00:44:02No, that's fine.
00:44:03That was just a practice.
00:44:05If there had been a little bit of shoulder move,
00:44:07like just sitting at the bar while you drink your pot,
00:44:10I would have nailed it.
00:44:11Let's go.
00:44:12But we're just going.
00:44:13We have another go at it.
00:44:16Five, and eight, five, six, seven, eight.
00:44:20Sleeve, sleeve, hair, sash,
00:44:23a, two, three, four, praise, two, three, four.
00:44:25That's it, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it.
00:44:28Yes, guys, and go.
00:44:33We nailed that.
00:44:36Yes!
00:44:40One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
00:44:44If you've seen a musical in the last 15 to 20 years,
00:44:47you may have seen me on stage shredding the boards.
00:44:49Yep.
00:44:50Yep.
00:44:50And back.
00:44:51And back.
00:44:52Left foot.
00:44:53Leah, Mel, and I are just looking at Robert like this.
00:44:56Oh.
00:44:58Away you go.
00:44:59How do you do this bit?
00:45:00Teach us.
00:45:01One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
00:45:04Hey!
00:45:05We got this.
00:45:07Dance Captain Rob.
00:45:09It's right foot forward,
00:45:12right foot forward, and then like this.
00:45:14Yeah.
00:45:14I've never studied dance in my life.
00:45:16Sleeve, sleeve, hair.
00:45:19Would you mind just keeping your own just for a sec?
00:45:21I thought I was helping, but okay.
00:45:22Mom definitely dances to her own beat.
00:45:25With a bit of a boop.
00:45:27Oh my goodness.
00:45:30Focus on one thing.
00:45:31Focus on one thing.
00:45:32I know, just, yeah, hands on the hips, I think it was.
00:45:34But even if you can only do one spin, you're not going to...
00:45:36No.
00:45:37No, it's just...
00:45:38Okay.
00:45:38I have total faith in Mom, but I am aware that this is not her strength.
00:45:43Opposite foot to opposite arm.
00:45:46So the arms are going forward the whole each time.
00:45:48Yeah, not backwards.
00:45:49I think something we are learning is to work as a team,
00:45:53which is a new experience for us.
00:45:55Forward with the left, and then forward with the right.
00:45:57Yeah.
00:45:58Forward with the left.
00:45:59I'm talking about the arm going back.
00:46:01I know, and I'm telling you it doesn't go back.
00:46:02And it's challenging.
00:46:03All mother and daughter relationships are challenging.
00:46:06Sorry, I just need to say that again.
00:46:08So the right foot is the only foot that's moving.
00:46:10Right foot forward, right foot back.
00:46:13The mother-daughter power balance is interesting.
00:46:15It shifts throughout life.
00:46:17But you are connected to your child forever.
00:46:22There isn't a date line that you cross that now says,
00:46:25ah, my mothering is done.
00:46:26It just didn't go back.
00:46:28Then one day, you're travelling in Uzbekistan with an adult woman
00:46:33who is totally capable.
00:46:34She's not your little baby anymore.
00:46:36My definition of forward, but it's all good.
00:46:38All good.
00:46:39It's like two balls in a paddock where two powerful women in one paddock,
00:46:46you know, that metaphor totally doesn't work.
00:46:48But you get the gist.
00:46:49You've got your shirt on backwards.
00:46:51I don't know if it makes any difference.
00:46:52You've got your hat on backwards.
00:46:53Have I?
00:46:54Close? Not close.
00:46:59Playing footy, I was an entertainer.
00:47:02And hearing the roar of a crowd when you're kicking a goal
00:47:05or when something good happens really does get you going.
00:47:08So I sort of try to get the crowd going just to get us that extra two percent, three percent.
00:47:14Five, six, eight.
00:47:16One, two, three, four, five, six.
00:47:18Sleep, sleep, head, sash.
00:47:20And I think it did.
00:47:21They all started clapping and they cheered and then we were like,
00:47:23shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo.
00:47:25We were on, weren't we?
00:47:25Hey!
00:47:27Hey!
00:47:29That was so much better.
00:47:30It was so much better.
00:47:31Yeah!
00:47:35Good job, everyone.
00:47:36Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:47:39Together, together.
00:47:39No, no, you.
00:47:40Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:47:41You take it, mate.
00:47:42Let me take that.
00:47:44I think the guy who gave the card was so happy that we got it because we just...
00:47:48Didn't want to watch us again.
00:47:50And now we take it.
00:47:53We got him up.
00:47:53Yeah.
00:47:54We butted him up.
00:47:55Mm-hmm.
00:47:56All right.
00:47:56Oh, blue's good.
00:47:57Blue is a good sign.
00:47:58Blue is a very good sign.
00:47:59Travel to one of the scientific wonders of the ancient world, the Ulugbeg Observatory,
00:48:04to find Bo at the pit stop.
00:48:06Hurry, the last team to arrive may be eliminated.
00:48:08We've done it.
00:48:08Let's go.
00:48:09Let's go.
00:48:09Let's hop to.
00:48:16Now, celebs are now racing to find me here at the Ulugbeg Observatory,
00:48:20built more than 600 years ago.
00:48:23This masterwork is one of the ancient world's greatest scientific feats,
00:48:29with astronomical measurements still accurate today.
00:48:34It was created to study the night sky, so what a fitting place for our stars to arrive.
00:48:39Welcome to the pit stop for the fourth leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:48:46Welcoming our celebs to Ulugbeg Observatory is none other than Ulugbeg himself.
00:48:53Well, not the Ulugbeg, because he died in the 15th century.
00:48:57It's an Ulugbeg impersonator.
00:49:00Oh, hello.
00:49:02Hello, miscompetitive.
00:49:03Well, now we're in first again.
00:49:05Feels good.
00:49:05Oh, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo.
00:49:07Let's get to Bo.
00:49:08Let's go.
00:49:09Our alliance that we've built with the Favolas doesn't matter to us right now.
00:49:12The only thing on the docket is getting to Bo first.
00:49:16The best thing about this race is it doesn't matter where you are.
00:49:19It can flip like that.
00:49:21The race isn't over.
00:49:22The race isn't over.
00:49:23Bro, if we win another pit stop, that's two wins in the bag.
00:49:28We did it, though.
00:49:28We're on the way to Bo.
00:49:29Come on.
00:49:31Uh-oh.
00:49:32Traffic.
00:49:33Just to touch the mat first once would be nice.
00:49:36Oh, God.
00:49:37This doesn't look good.
00:49:39Oh, my God.
00:49:41Are you beeping kidding me?
00:49:47It's gonna be like a neck and neck the whole way.
00:49:49It's a little bit cutthroat.
00:49:50It's a little bit.
00:49:57Okay.
00:49:57You feel good?
00:49:58Yeah.
00:49:59I believe in you.
00:50:00Oh, I believe in you.
00:50:02The pressure's definitely on.
00:50:03I've got to put on a show here.
00:50:05If I don't, a lot of producers watch The Amazing Race.
00:50:08I might not get another roll.
00:50:10Smiles?
00:50:11Happy?
00:50:11Smiles.
00:50:12One, five, six, seven, go.
00:50:14Here.
00:50:14Hello.
00:50:16Three, four.
00:50:16Here we go.
00:50:17Sleeve.
00:50:17Sleeve.
00:50:18Sleeve.
00:50:18Three, three.
00:50:19Tighten.
00:50:20One.
00:50:23I'll get it wrong.
00:50:23Is that one more time?
00:50:24Obviously, I haven't got the job.
00:50:26One more time?
00:50:26Can we do it one more time quickly?
00:50:27Okay.
00:50:27Here we go.
00:50:28I've never felt more embarrassed.
00:50:30Five, six, seven, eight.
00:50:32Hi.
00:50:33No.
00:50:34I forgot it.
00:50:35What?
00:50:35Why?

00:50:44We'll try again.
00:50:58Where do you live?
00:51:00I'm not speaking English.
00:51:02Oh, no, no English?
00:51:03Mm-hmm.
00:51:04And you tell me now.
00:51:09Well, that's the Favolas right there.
00:51:11Oh, man, they're hot on our trail.
00:51:12The rivalry with the Favolas is back on.
00:51:15It's time to drive it home and get us to Beau first.
00:51:18Marks and Dom.
00:51:19Jeez, that's got me up and about.
00:51:22We had a great day.
00:51:23We played three and a half quarters.
00:51:25We come from eight.
00:51:26We're stressed.
00:51:27We want to hit the mat in first place.
00:51:30Oh, no, come on.
00:51:31Do you see the Favs anymore?
00:51:33I don't see them anymore.
00:51:34Oh, yo.
00:51:36Oh, well done, champion.
00:51:40This is going to be good.
00:51:40Oh, I see flags.
00:51:43Yeah.
00:51:43Boom.
00:51:44I know exactly where we're going.
00:51:45Eagle eye from Marks.

00:55:52we have disappointed the dance gods
00:55:57with the dancing challenge hello there's a level of confidence um but it's a confidence that is
00:56:02so natural if we get this on the first go we are absolutely back in the game
00:56:12damn it oh no we haven't done with music before they start playing the music and it's a lot faster
00:56:18than we expected and it just throws everybody off ten ten hey we have not given up no we've
00:56:29definitely not given up have you practiced with music no good luck we have not been practicing with
00:56:35we didn't learn it to the music all right confidence is king confidence is what gets us here and then the

00:56:55like can you tell us what it was everything it was a nightmare no no no we just need to learn
00:57:12that because we just we just kind of time so we start to realize like we are going back to the
00:57:18back of the back we're like we're about to eliminate the courage it doesn't deserve a clap

00:58:57one two three yeah see we've got a wrong thing you've got a missing move
00:59:02okay that was really difficult yeah it's the music that throws it but we're not even that good at
00:59:11this it's okay benson don't say that well i think we're doing well we'll just slow it down yep we'll
00:59:17slow it down we're going to follow you lindy and as long as you're saying them out loud the salt and
00:59:21pepper mum will be in front of us anyway so we can just copy and you can just look to your left and spin
00:59:26two three and today so this dancing challenge there's so much anxiety with the curries you can
00:59:34kind of somewhat see that they're uncomfortable with where they are at we know steph and ben and
00:59:40the princesses they're right behind us last isn't an option today we're going to get in front of them
00:59:45we really need these boys we need to dig deep here the four of us needed to come together big smiles
00:59:51eight of that and then we do the okay boys at the front smile give them our all
01:00:01one two three four watcher one two three four and one two three performance is 50 talent the other

01:01:47longer time i see the curries that's the boys there yes that's um luke and scott we know we're
01:01:53towards the end of the pack so we need to actually hot tail it to this pit stop i don't want to go
01:01:59home we've got a charity to think of so oh definitely one of these teams is going to go
01:02:04out gosh it's really close we know absolutely anything can happen in this race i'm feeling

01:02:30did they say the next person will be eliminated next person might be eliminated no i'd say it's may
01:02:34may be eliminated i mean who knows we started this leg in first position yeah and now we are in danger
01:02:40of being eliminated as long as we don't lose a leg we're still in the race and that's the most
01:02:45important thing because we are in this to win it for our charity one in five supporting mental illness
01:02:51come on johnny oh they're following behind i know i'm no i'm no between that moment of leaving
01:02:57the dance to go find bow at the pit stop anything can happen we know that i think more than any other
01:03:03team and that's kind of our secret power that you know we don't rest we don't stop until the legs
01:03:09stop this race has taught us that we're braver and stronger than we have thought i feel pretty
01:03:15confident that we've got a little bit of fire in us that will keep us here let's hope with these long
