00:00Ladies and gentlemen, well, you are listening to our special podcast today.
00:08Today's topic, the chapter in Middle Eastern politics.
00:13When Qatar and Israel come to face to face.
00:18Relations, conflicts and behind the scenes game.
00:23Let us find out.
00:24Qatar, a small Gulf state but a major power in diplomacy.
00:32And Israel, a country that has always been surrounded by security concerns.
00:40The question is, how are the two related?
00:43And where does the problem begin?
00:47In the 1990s, Qatar established limited relations with Israel.
00:53Well, trade responsibilities come to Doha.
00:59Diplomatic talks began.
01:02But when the Palestinian issues come up, Qatar openly supported it.
01:08The Amman's leadership is still in Doha today.
01:12And this is the point that stings Israel.
01:16Listen, but why does Qatar do this?
01:20On the one hand, it is a friend of America.
01:26And on the other hand, it facilitates Amman's.
01:30What kind of contradiction is this?
01:34Very good question.
01:38Qatar's policy is to have relations with everyone.
01:41That's why it sends billions of dollars in head to Gaza.
01:53Now, Israel says, this head is actually strengthening Hamas's end.
01:59But Qatar says, no.
02:01If there is to be dialogue with Hamas, a door has to be opened.
02:07And that door is Qatar.
02:10The biggest threat to Israel is that Hamas has a political office in Doha.
02:17And you know that Israel's position is tough.
02:20Either Qatar closes the office or imposes strict conditions on its head.
02:29But Qatar is still standing its ground listener.
02:34So does this mean that Qatar is prolonging war instead of peace?
02:39This is the debate.
02:42Some people say Qatar plays a mediating role.
02:46That's why many Western countries, including the United States, want.
02:53But Israel's inner circle wave it with suspicion.
02:58To them, it is not meditation but an obstacle.
03:02Today, the relationship between Qatar and Israel is not just a relationship between two countries.
03:11It is a reflection of the politics of the entire Middle East and the Palestinian conflict.
03:19For Qatar, it is a diplomatic balancing act.
03:24For Israel, it is a security challenge.
03:27The question is, which way will the future go?
03:34Can Qatar's meditation bring peace?
03:36Or will Israel's suspicions be proven correct?
03:41Time will tell.
03:43That's what today both caused.
03:48If you enjoy this conversation,
03:51stay tuned, another topic, another analysis in the next episode.
03:57Until then, good bye.
