00:15going through. But first and foremost, he was a man of faith. And if any Christian is wondering
00:23why, I just encourage them to read Psalms 13. Because just as David was asking God why,
00:35he was in deep anguish. He trusted God in the end. And that's all we can do right now. And
00:43that's what God expects of us. He expects us to lean on him.

00:53I think my last thing, you'll see the comments on social media, right? There's a lot of hate
00:59directed towards Charlie Kirk for whatever reason. How do you respond to those people that
01:04maybe think that Charlie Kirk wasn't doing the right stuff?
01:09To them, I would say that the same God that he preached about as far as love, that's the
01:13same God that loves them. Again, we go back to do we agree with him? Do we hate him? Do
01:21we love him? Whether we hate him or love him? He was pretty much just trying to make a point
01:31about you. You're free to hate him. You have that freedom in this country to hate somebody. But that
01:39hatred should never lead you to pick up a weapon and make it a person's demise. You can hate, you can love
01:48whoever you want in this country. But that love should propel you to do right for that person. But if you hate that
02:01person, that hatred should never propel you to see their demise. Not in this country.
02:06I think my last thing for you, just send some more questions. But there are people out there that feel like his message was one of whom?
02:16I don't think his message was so much of hate, other than the fact that it was more so of exposing his faith, his political views, and his stance on politics.
02:30Because one of his quotes that he says, me being a minority, he said, there is nothing that a person of minority can't do that a person who's not a minority.
02:45So this is a land of opportunity. And we can take the opportunities that we're giving and run with them, but we could not.
02:54Or we can make excuses and play the victims. You know, and I think his clear message, even though he didn't agree with, I don't know, I guess the left-leaning culture, he wasn't spreading hate.
03:09But a lot of people can take it as hate. You know, I can say something right here and somebody will take it as hate.
03:16And I'm not, I'm not hating on anybody. I'm just grieving the loss of a great man.
03:20All right, so that was the very latest from Los Angelinos reacting to Charlie Kirk's death.
03:28And as I mentioned, across America, even internationally, this week we heard from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
03:35who says he was sad about hearing about the death and assassination of Charlie Kirk.
03:40Take a look at your screen. The latest from the commander-in-chief, President Donald Trump, saying the suspect arrested in the Kirk murder.
03:48Quote, I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody.
03:53Now, that announcement was made about an hour or so before we had that live FBI and law enforcement update here on Live Now from Fox.
04:03He made that announcement with our content partners over at Fox & Friends during the live broadcast.
04:08Take a listen.
04:08Yeah, can I always say, I think, just to protect us all and so Fox doesn't get sued and we all don't get sued and everything else,
04:21but I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him.
04:26We're in custody, right?
04:29In custody.
04:29In custody, everyone did a great job.
04:32We worked with the local police, the governor.
04:34Everybody did a great job.
04:36You know, getting somebody that you start off with absolutely nothing.
04:40And we started off with a clip that made him look like an ant that was almost useless.
04:44We just saw there was somebody up there.
04:47And so much work has been done over the last two and a half days.
04:50You know, it's amazing, actually, when you start off with that and then all of a sudden you get lucky or talent or whatever it is.
04:58But, yeah, I think we're in great shape.
05:00That's the person.
05:00And he's in custody.
05:05All right.
05:06So, again, you just heard there here on Live Now from Fox.
05:09The latest from the commander-in-chief, as he says, quote, he does suspect that the shooter is in custody.
05:14We did learn from that press conference that, in fact, the man on your screen in that mugshot, Tyler Robinson, they say, quote,
05:22full of hate before Charlie Kirk shooting, that coming from family friends.
05:27And we are learning that the suspect there on your screen has been booked into the Utah County Jail.
05:33We're told he was turned in by a family member and a family friend.
05:37So, a lot to dissect.
05:39And as we are looking at response from around the world, just moments ago we played out the latest from Los Angelinos as they got emotional saying they considered Charlie Kirk a man of faith.
05:51I want to transition to give you this live look out in Phoenix, Arizona.
05:55You're getting a live view of Turning Point headquarters in Phoenix as the announcement came in that the suspect is in custody in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
06:05You can see a memorial set up there.
06:08We've seen this Friday in real time, people coming out, leaving mementos.
06:11You see them there on your screen, balloons, flowers, written statements, even some stuffed animals.

08:50underway with the fbi other law enforcement agencies utah's governor that that suspect
08:55is finally in custody actually turned in by a family member and a family friend for those unfamiliar
09:03with what brings us to this point could you catch us up please as we are learning on this friday even
09:09more details oh and we're going to continue to learn a lot more details about this suspect
09:15once again in this type of situation you have family and friends describing the suspect as somebody
09:23that was full of hatred that was going down a very dark path uh in terms of uh coming forth with
09:33violence and the potential to commit violent acts and as a result all of these pre-indicators were missed
09:42jack something very interesting that you just pointed out you said uh once again family members
09:51and friends are pointing this out for so many people that alludes to hey there were warning signs that
09:57this could potentially happen write that down for us of course it's unfortunate uh again you know as
10:03as somebody who helped uh institute the see something say something program we're really still having a
10:11problem with it as americans and we're not saying or telling the right people uh the things that they
10:19need to know to stop these types of events from taking place oftentimes the family and friends they not only
