00:00And we continue in Venezuela because the Bolivarian National Armed Force denounced a new campaign by the ultra-right to create destabilization and anxiety among the population regarding the United States military presence in the Caribbean Sea.
00:14The Venezuelan Navy stated that through a perverse campaign on social networks promoted by sectors of the ultra-right, information has been disseminated indicating the alleged presence of a U.S. helicopter in the vicinity of one of Venezuela's island territories,
00:32which implies the possibility that these same U.S. military forces could inflict damage to the aforementioned aircraft in order to provoke and fabricate an incident or a false positive.
00:45The institution also assured that the above would serve as a pretext to justify an escalation of military aggressions against our nation,
00:53just as U.S. imperialism has done in other historical episodes, such as the Gulf of Tonkin in 1964.
01:03The statement also asserted that without a doubt, this fake news is part of the psychological operations contemplated in the traditional U.S. war script,
01:12aimed at creating fictitious scenarios as a precondition for armed interventions,
01:17in this case under the factious excuse of the fight against drug trafficking,
01:22when in reality a forced regime change in Venezuela is intended,
01:27which in turn would drag the region into a conflict of unforeseeable consequences.
