Serena Ventures joined a Series B funding round for Unrivaled led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with Warner Bros. Discovery and Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures also participating. The league did not reveal the size of each investment. The league’s valuation surged from $95 million a year ago as women’s sports gain momentum with fans and investors. Other backers include Billie Jean King, Stephen Curry, Coco Gauff, and Michael Phelps.
