White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has dismissed explosive claims linking former President Donald Trump to a controversial letter allegedly written to Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking to reporters, Leavitt insisted that Trump “never wrote such a letter” and called the allegations a political smear. She demanded a handwriting review of the bizarre signature, which included the word “Pubes,” arguing it was a forged attempt to damage Trump’s reputation.

00:00They are now using victims as political props to try and, again, smear the
00:04President of the United States and drag on this bad story about him. It is a
00:07distraction. The Democrats view this story as nothing more than an attempt to
00:12distract from the accomplishments and the achievements of this administration.
00:16The president has one of the most famous signatures in the world. The president
00:20did not write that letter. He did not sign those documents. He maintains that
00:24position and that position will be argued in court by his lawyers. The
00:27president is very confident he's going to win this case.
00:30Caroline, thank you. I want to follow up on something you said. You said the Epstein
00:35documents are a hoax that Democrats are perpetrating against the president. You've
00:38said he didn't sign that check, that he didn't sign the birthday card that he
00:43allegedly signed. So what is the theory since these documents came from the Epstein
00:46estate? Who is, I guess, in your view faking these documents? I did not say the
00:51documents are a hoax. I said the entire narrative surrounding Jeffrey Epstein
00:55right now that is absorbing many of the liberal cable channels on television is a hoax that
01:02is being perpetuated by opportunistic Democrats like Ro Khanna and the others whom you saw
01:07on that press conference outside of Capitol Hill who are trying to push this hoax against
01:12the president of the United States. What exactly is the hoax? I'm just trying to understand
01:16what's fake. What's fake is not the documents then? The hoax is the Democrats pretending to
01:20care about victims of crime when they do not care about victims of crime, when they have done
01:24nothing to solve crimes, when they have done nothing to lock up child pedophiles and child
01:29rapists across the country. And when they are now using victims as political props to try and
01:34again smear the president of the United States and drag on this bad story about him. It is a
01:39distraction. The Democrats view this story as nothing more than an attempt to distract from the
01:44accomplishments and the achievements of this administration. And that is what we mean when we
01:49call it a hoax. If he didn't sign these, if you said he didn't sign the birthday card, he didn't do
01:53this, he also didn't do the check. Those were in documents from the estate. So what is the working
01:58theory as to why he's in them? The president has one of the most famous signatures in the world and
02:03he has for many, many years. You know that Maggie, you've covered him for a long time, long before he
02:07assumed this office when he was a businessman in New York. The president did not write that letter. He did not
02:12sign those documents. He maintains that position and that position will be argued in court by his lawyers.
02:18The president is very confident he is going to win this case.
