00:09come, you know, la only way to protect yourself è
00:15is to make sure that the hands that you're in, you trust,
00:21and you feel like they know better than you and like they're gonna protect you and put the,
00:30you know, maybe it's not even the best, just like the version that works and that it'll all work, right?
00:36But, I mean, from like a very like macro life POV, I don't know, I'm just trying to figure it out.
00:47Like in my room reading like Celtic wisdom books and like, you know, being like,
00:51I can make it what I want it to be, you know, so I don't know.
00:58For this movie, 100%, and I talked to him a couple of times before, you know,
01:03and I wanted to work with him since like I saw The Lobster back in 2015,
01:08but at the end of the day, you know, I felt like the movie was asking a lot from everyone,
01:14and if I were to do that, no matter how badly I wanted to work with a director,
01:18I needed to, you know, make sure I was putting myself in safe hands and, you know, just talking with him.
01:23I was like, okay, I certainly feel that way.
01:26And I was, and watching the movie and having, you know, conversations afterwards,
01:33I was like, yeah, this is the only way to like give yourself over in this way,
01:37to acquiesce control over your image and, you know, how you're presenting to the world,
01:42because it's going to be seen by people, and it's important, especially for me.
01:46Yeah, it was a big deal, and I greatly appreciate the respect and the tenderness
01:56with which everything was handled throughout this entire process.
02:06I don't know, it's interesting, I mean...
02:09Well, this isn't the way, you know.
02:12Like, this, yeah.
02:14Don't do that.
02:15It doesn't have to be like this.
02:17Yeah, there's another option.
02:19There's a lot much more hopeful, like...
02:23Don't do that.
02:25Orally sound version of life.
02:27Yeah.
02:28Yeah, yeah.
02:29You can give, give, give, and it'll never be enough.
02:31Yeah.
02:32It's, it's, yeah, it's an interesting, yeah.
02:38It was really special.
02:39It was really special to be, it was a huge opportunity,
02:42and I feel really lucky and grateful to have been able to make this film.
02:46Yeah.
02:48Likewise.
02:49Yeah.
