00:00Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced a series of measures against Israel, including
00:04an arms embargo on sails, abandoning accumulating fuel ships for Israeli soldiers in the country's
00:09ports, and abandoning all aircraft carrying Israel-bound weapons from entering Spanish
00:13airspace.
00:14The first action is the urgent approval of a royal decree law that legally consolidates
00:24the arms embargo to Israel which we have already been de facto applying since October 2023,
00:32and establishes the legal and permanent prohibition of buying and selling weaponry, ammunition
00:37and military equipment to Israel.
00:39Secondly, along with this embargo, is the prohibition of transit through Spanish ports for all ships
00:47transporting fuel destined for the Israeli armed forces.
00:52Thirdly, the denial of entry into Spanish airspace for all state aircraft carrying defense material
01:02bound for Israel.
01:05Fourthly, the prohibition of access to Spanish territory for all those individuals directly
01:12involved in genocide, human rights violations and war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
