00:00We are about to begin the most competitive tournament of club soccer in the world.
00:06That's right. At the end of this month, it all kicks off.
00:09Match day one. This might sound a little confusing.
00:11Match day one is spread out across three separate days
00:14because there's a lot of teams playing.
00:16So we're going to break it down, the biggest games by each match day.
00:20First up, Jeeva, I want to talk to you because we're talking about Real Madrid versus Marseille.
00:25Marseille, a squad that, you know, for their domestic league, up there with PSG,
00:30they have actually won Champions League to their names,
00:32but they pale in comparison to Real Madrid,
00:34which has more Champions League than any other squad ever of all time.
00:38So what does this tournament mean for Real Madrid right now?
00:41They've struggled as of late.
00:42So give us like a big picture breakdown of what Real Madrid need to do,
00:45what you're looking out for.
00:46Real Madrid, el más grande, el más ganador de la Champions League.
00:49They have to come out and come out strong now.
00:51Let's not forget that they have a brand new coach, Xavi Alonso.
00:54They're struggling to, I think, to establish the type of game
00:58that they want to play with Xavi.
01:00But I do see Real Madrid learning from their past experience
01:03in the Champions League and winning these type of games that are essential.
01:07The first matches are essential for you to take the three points,
01:09especially when you're playing at home.
01:11Yeah, that's a good point.
01:12Other matches to look out for on that day.
01:15Juve versus Dortmund.
01:16Love to see Italian tactics go up against German strength.
01:20Always fun to watch.
01:21Another Bilbao versus Arsenal.
01:22Arsenal betting big on a 15-year-old.
01:25Mr. Max Daumann, the youngest player to ever play in the tournament.
01:27That's going to be fascinating to watch as well.
01:29I'm going to say, day two, just as exciting, if not more.
01:32No offense.
01:34Bayern versus Chelsea.
01:35This is going to be an interesting match.
01:37Bayern's got that depth.
01:38I see them as this dark horse in the tournament.
01:41They got goal-scoring abilities with Kane.
01:43They got leadership with Kane, but it goes deeper than just Kane.
01:46Chelsea, on the other hand, great players as well.
01:49They got something else.
01:50They've been spending a lot of cash, a lot of cash, around a billion dollars in the last three years for Chelsea.
01:58They have been putting this crazy team.
02:00We saw sparkles of what they are trying to achieve in the Club World Cup.
02:04They won the tournament, and we saw that the power that they have up front is unlike very few teams in the competition.
02:11For me, Joel Pedro is the player to watch.
02:14They will be relying on him, but also Palmer, right?
02:17Palmer had a great tournament, and he might be finally fulfilling the promise that he's been trying to, you know, be as a player since his Manchester City days.
02:26Nick, I believe that this is very important for Chelsea to start strong.
02:30This is a team that is coming back to the tournament after not being in it last season.
02:34So I believe that they have big expectations, but I do believe that they have an edge because they have a deep, deep team,
02:41and I think that that's going to make a difference coming later in the season.
02:44Deep team, deep pockets.
02:46Some other matches to watch on that day as well.
02:49Olympiakos versus Paphos, the Greek giants going up against the tiny island of Cyprus at a tiny city on the tiny island of Cyprus, Paphos.
02:58They surprised everybody by getting into this tournament so much so caught my eye.
03:02I might just be in Europe to cover a little bit of what's going on in the tiny city of Paphos on the tiny island of Cyprus.
03:09But I don't want to give too many spoiler alerts away, but spoiler alert.
03:13We can't hit.
03:13I might be over there.
03:15Yeah.
03:15We will be traveling a little bit.
03:17A lot of surprises coming for Latin Asian Football Club and the coverage for Champions League.
03:21That's right.
03:21And finally, I got a lot of matches on here, so I'm looking at my notes.
03:24On day three of match day one, we got another big one, Man City versus Napoli.
03:30For me, probably the most exciting match of all of these.
03:33We got Man City, who've been dominating this tournament other than, you know, the last few, you know, recent past.
03:40But Napoli, amazing in Serie A, the champions of Serie A going up.
03:44De Bruyne doing amazing for Napoli, going up against his former club.
03:49What are you guys looking for in this match?
03:50What are you most excited for?
03:51I mean, hopefully Pep Guardiola finally finds a way with Manchester City.
03:56It seems to me like they're still struggling.
03:58I feel like Manchester City is not going to go too far in this Champions League because they're redoing the whole team.
04:05And, you know, I just hope that Manchester City shows why they spend so much money and the coaches and the players.
