00:00Like I said, it's just a great honor to have a foot in each one of these worlds and being part of it, so thank you.
00:04Thank you very much.
00:06And, Sergey, you were saying a lot in the Oval Office.
00:08I figured you're somebody that likes to speak with his really wonderful MAGA girlfriend.
00:17So would you like to say a few words?
00:19Well, maybe, do you want to say something?
00:21I truly, every time I'm here or in your presence, I'm so grateful, so thank you.
00:27It's like I can't believe it.
00:29Every time, like the inauguration here, I think you're doing amazing work.
00:33Thank you very much.
00:34We actually were just with Leonardo.
00:38Leopold.
00:38Leopold.
00:39Leopold.
00:39Leopold.
00:41Yeah, he's in Venezuela, and you're applying a lot of pressure to Maduro, and I think that's phenomenal for an American president to actually be applying pressure there in Venezuela and then hopefully in Cuba and so forth.
00:58So there's a lot of civil rights work that you're leading.
01:01We didn't get a chance to mention.
01:03I also just wanted to mention, we don't have to get into all the details we talked about in the Oval Office, but I think it's a real incredible inflection point right now in AI.
01:14And the fact that your administration is supporting our companies instead of fighting with them, it's hugely important.
01:24Obviously, it's a global race, and I think we're at the cusp where these AI models are about to become profoundly useful, kind of beyond the, okay, wow, it's cool, it can do that, but actually day-to-day, incredible utility, incredible productivity.
01:42So very grateful for your administration support.
01:45Well, you had a very good day yesterday, Google.
01:48Had a very good day yesterday, and do you want to talk about that big day you had yesterday?
01:54I'm glad it's all wearing.
01:56Biden was the one that prosecuted that's plus it.
02:03Yeah, look, it's a long process.
02:06I appreciate that, you know, your administration had a constructive dialogue, and we were able to get it to some resolution.
02:12I would echo what Sergey said.
02:14I think the AI moment is one of the most transformative moments any of us have ever seen or will see in our lifetimes.
02:22So making sure the U.S. is at the forefront, and I think your administration is investing a lot.
02:27Already the AI action plan under your leadership I think is a great start, and we look forward to working together, and thanks for your leadership.
02:34Great job you're doing.
02:35Incredible, really, Jeff.
02:37Lisa, how about you?
02:38Well, Mr. President, it's such an honor to be here and the incredible work that your administration has done to support the semiconductor industry.
02:47You know, we're building the brains behind all of the wonderful AI that's being built here, and I think the amount of acceleration that we've seen just in the few short months that the administration has been in place is really – we're so grateful for that support.
03:01And we had a wonderful event this afternoon with the First Lady's support of the AI education plan.
03:07So I think the main message is we are all in to make sure that America wins the AI race, and it's an honor to be here.
03:14Thank you very much.
03:15Great job you're doing, too.
03:16Amazing job, what you've done in a short period of time.
03:19Really amazing.
03:20And I see somebody down there, Bill, from Microsoft that has done a pretty good job, too.
03:26I'll tell you what.
03:27I had that stock.
03:28It was 28, and now it's about 500 and something.
03:31I don't know if it's – what a job you've done.
03:34Would you say a few words about your company?
03:38Absolutely, Mr. President.
03:39Thank you so much, obviously, for bringing us all together and the policies that you have put in place for the United States to lead.
03:47And one of the things that I think has made this industry unique is not only the innovation, but it's the market access that you have obviously championed for us all over the world,
04:00and also the trust the world has on American technology.
04:03I think that everything that you're doing in terms of setting in place the platform where the rest of the world can not only use our technology but trust our technology more than any other alternative is perhaps the most important issue.
04:18And you and your policies are really helping a lot.
04:21So thank you very much.
04:22And also I wanted to thank Madam First Lady for hosting what I think is perhaps the most defining issue,
04:27which is about skilling and economic opportunity that comes with AI.
04:32And so I deeply appreciate you – your leadership there as well.
04:35And a really amazing job you've done.
04:38Bill, would you like to say a few words?
04:44Well, I'm in the second phase of my career, giving away all the wonderful money that Satya's good work has helped multiply a lot.
04:54But I think the thing that ties my first career that I still spend some time on,
05:00because AI is so phenomenal.
05:03And my second career is innovation, innovating in health, in areas like vaccines or gene editing.
05:13And the president and I are talking about taking American innovation to the next level to cure
05:18and even eradicate some of these diseases.
05:22He mentioned polio, which is one that we're close.
05:25We don't need new science on that one for some like HIV and sickle cell.
05:31We do need new science, but the U.S. has the seeds that in the same way that Warp Speed took those seeds and put them together,
05:41I think something fantastic can be done.
05:43You know, AI for our foundation is that we want a doctor for everyone in Africa through AI.
05:54We want farmers to have incredible advice and, you know, kids to have a chance to learn.
05:58So the work being done by the people at this table is changing the world.
06:04It's, you know, coming fast.
06:05So it's great, you know, we all get together and talk about how the U.S. can lead in this key area
06:11and apply it even to the poorest outside the U.S. as well as to our great citizens.
06:18So thank you for incredible leadership, including getting this group together.
06:23Thank you, Bill.
06:24That was very nice.
06:25Tim Cook, you've done an incredible job with Apple, a little company called Apple.
06:30Thank you, Mr. President.
06:32Very, very few people have been able to do what you've done.
06:34Congratulations.
06:36Please.
06:36Thank you, sir.
06:36That means a lot to me.
06:38I want to thank you for including me this evening.
06:41It's incredible to be among everyone here, particularly you and the First Lady.
06:47I've always enjoyed having dinner and interacting.
06:51I want to thank you for setting the tone such that we could make a major investment in the United States
06:58and have some key manufacturing, advanced manufacturing here.
07:04I think that says a lot about your focus and your leadership and your focus on innovation.
07:10I also want to thank you for helping American companies around the world.
07:17This is a very key, key thing, and I really enjoy working with your administration on those topics as well
07:27because I think they're so important to the country.
07:30I want to thank the First Lady for focusing on education.
07:34There's nothing more important than education.
07:37It is the great equalizer and always will be.
07:42And so thank you so much for including me.
07:45We are all different in some ways, but we all believe in the power of technology to improve people's lives,
07:53and that is the thing that binds us all together.
07:57And, Tim, how much money will Apple be investing in the United States?
08:02Because I know it's a very lot, and it's, you know, you were elsewhere,
08:07and now you're really coming home in a big way.
08:09How much money will you be investing?
08:11$600 billion.
08:12$600 billion.
08:14That's a lot of jobs.
08:15We're very proud to do it.
08:16That's great.
08:17Thank you very much.
08:18Appreciate it.
08:18Thank you, sir.
08:19Sam, you're a big leader of a very new industry at a very young age.
08:24You're a young guy.
08:25Do you want to tell us about what you're doing?
08:28You told me things before that are absolutely unbelievable.
08:31So what are you doing?
08:33First of all, to echo the comments of Tim and others,
08:36thank you so much for getting us all together,
08:38and thank you for being such a pro-business, pro-innovation president.
08:41It's a very refreshing change.
08:43We're very excited to see what you're doing to make all of our companies
08:46and our entire country so successful.
08:48The investment that's happening here,
08:50the ability to get the power and the industry back in the United States,
08:53I think has set us up for a long period of great success leading the world,
08:58and I don't think that would be happening now without your leadership.
09:01We're very grateful to be able to build our company here,
09:04to build data centers here, to build the entire AI industry
09:07and lead the world in the United States,
09:09echoing many of the people's comments.
09:12I think this will transform the world in a profound way,
09:15and I think it really will be the United States' advantage
09:17to be able to lead the world this way.
09:20The event that the First Lady posted today about education was really wonderful,
09:24and watching what AI is doing even today for education
09:26and so many other industries is really great.
09:29So thank you so much for enabling this.
09:32We will invest a ton in the United States,
09:35and we will do our best to make sure that we continue to lead here.
09:38That's right. Thank you.
09:39Hundreds of billions of dollars, and it's going to be well worth it.
09:43And you have an unlimited market, right?
09:46Seems like it.
09:47Come to think of it, how much is Google investing?
09:50We are.
09:52In the next two years, it's $200 billion.
09:55That's great.
09:57That's great.
09:58We're proud of you.
09:59Very good.
10:00A lot of jobs.
10:00I think it's the focus, as you said.
10:02Yeah, good.
10:03What about Microsoft?
10:04That's a big number.
10:07I'd say each year we're close to, in the United States,
10:10around $75 to $80 billion.
10:13Okay.
10:13Very good.
10:14Thank you very much.
10:15Would anybody like to say anything?
10:18You have a lot of geniuses on my right.
10:20Some young, some not so young.
10:23Mostly young, come to think of it.
10:25Yes, please.
10:26I just wanted to echo everyone's comments.
10:28I think we've been just very impressed with how this administration has really embraced AI.
10:32And I think that, in addition to the infrastructure,
10:35the most massive infrastructure built in history,
10:37I mean, we're talking 10X the size of the Apollo program,
10:39I think also, to me, the most important thing is what AI will do for all of us.
10:43And I think that there's been a choice of whether to approach it with optimism.
10:48And I think that that's what I've really seen from this administration.
10:51So I just wanted to say thank you for that.
10:53Great job you're doing.
10:55Incredible job you're doing.
10:56I know every inch of your building, and I can't believe it.
10:59The biggest buildings ever, you know, we talked about 100-story buildings.
11:04These buildings blow them away, right?
11:06So I just want to, they're more lateral than they are up and down,
11:10but they blow everything away, so congratulations.
11:15Would anybody like to say anything, please?
11:17Satya?
11:20Would you like to go, Safra?
11:22Safra?
11:25This is a most incredible time.
11:29AI is going to change everything.
11:31You hear all of us saying that.
11:33But the fact that you are our president, and you recognize this right away,
11:38and you've unleashed American innovation and creativity,
11:43all the work you're doing in basically every cabinet post,
11:48in addition to what's coming out of the White House,
11:52is making it possible for America to win.
11:56Today's event that was spearheaded by our wonderful First Lady,
12:01focusing on education, is the center of where we need to go,
12:08because it is all of these young people who can't be afraid of new technologies.
12:14They literally have to embrace it and make America even stronger.
12:20And that focus was very, very critical.
12:23And I think this is the most exciting time in America ever,
12:29ever, at least that I remember.
12:30So thank you.
12:32Thank you for everything you're doing.
12:35Thank you very much.
12:36I appreciate saying hello to everybody, Larry and everybody else.
12:40It's an amazing company that you're involved with and running.
12:45I just want to thank everybody for being here.
12:47I want to thank the media.
12:48They've been very nice lately, although I'm still here.
12:54They made a couple of bad predictions.
12:57That was not good.
12:58I've never had that feeling before.
13:00I went to an event, and people are coming up to me and saying,
13:04you're still here.
13:05I said, what do they mean by that?
13:06I didn't hear about this.
13:07But anyway, but I do.
13:09The press has been great in terms of this industry,
13:12and they understand the importance of it.
13:14This is taking our country to a new level.
13:17We're leading the world.
13:18We're leading China, but we're leading the world by a lot.
13:21And we're leading it because of the people around the table.
13:24And all I can do is implement and make it a lot easier for you.
