FAMILY FINDS GLOWING ROCKS ON LAKE SHORE
WITH VID
By Dev Yadav
Watch as a family of four discovers glowing Yooperlite rocks along the shores of Lake Superior, creating a core memory together.
Brittany Frink, 34, a content creator from Bloomington, Illinois, USA joined her husband Jake, 38, and their two children Noah, six, and Aniston, nine, on a nighttime adventure to hunt for Yooperlites, a trade name for fluorescent rocks that only glow under a UV flashlight.
After two days of searching without success, excitement struck when Noah finally spotted his first Yooperlite.
Moments later, Aniston found hers too, and the kids’ reactions of wonder and joy lit up the night.
The clip shows the family scouring the rocky shoreline, their flashlights revealing ordinary stones that suddenly burst into fiery neon patterns.
The clip was shared on instagram where one user commented: “What a beautiful family adventure.”
Another asked: “What makes them glow with the special light?”
