00:00Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment presented its proposed budget for 2026 during a House budget hearing attended by Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and Testa's Secretary Francisco Benitez.

00:11Dole is seeking over 44 billion pesos, lower than its 51 billion pesos allocation in 2025.

00:18The amount will be distributed among its seven attached agencies with tests to getting the largest share at more than 19 billion pesos, equivalent to 44 percent of the entire proposal.

00:28Officials noted that 2024 marked Dole's highest allocation in recent years, reaching 61.2 billion pesos.
