00:00We're going to Tenerife. It was booked last year for my 21st birthday, so obviously we've been waiting for the year to come.
00:05And then we turned up this morning and we've won the prize, so I mean, honestly I can't believe it.

00:14Some lucky holidaymakers arriving at Newcastle Airport to catch their Jet 2 flights were met with a welcome surprise.
00:20Selected at random, the travellers were handed a golden envelope by members of staff.
00:25Inside, they discovered they'd won a free holiday of their choice.
00:28Well, I said it was two ticket sites, so sorry kids, but...
00:33Just the adults, unfortunately.
00:36I was just shocked.
00:37Yeah, I don't think it's sunk in yet.
00:40It's our 20th anniversary at Newcastle Airport today. We started here in 2005.
00:45They started with one aircraft, just to two destinations, and they've grown over 20 years to nine aircraft flying to 54 destinations.
00:54We've had more than 700 staff at Newcastle Airport, and we're celebrating a success story carrying lots of people from the North East on holiday over the last 20 years.
01:02Apart from cupcakes and balloon arches, obviously there's been holidays that we've given away and some vouchers, so we're very pleased to be able to thank everybody for flying with us today.
01:11So, I work at North East door systems, I'm an automatic door engineer.
01:15Now I'm a psychologist, I work for the NHS.
01:17I'm a bin man, I work for Durham County Council. I finished my apprenticeship last year, so I'm just waiting on a full-time job.
01:23I've just finished uni, I've just finished my nursing.
01:26I started here in 1979 myself at Newcastle Airport, and I've got colleagues here who have been with us right from the start of Jet 2.
01:33I was the only colleague when we arrived in Newcastle, there was only me, and now we've got over 800 just based at Newcastle alone.
01:40So I've been with Jet 2 Newcastle for 20 years. It's been fantastic to watch the company grow. I started off as cabin crew 20 years ago.
01:47We had one aircraft, two destinations, and now we are absolutely huge, and it's been a delight to watch the company grow year after year.
01:56I wasn't expecting anything like this, so I haven't got anywhere planned in my head at the moment, but I'll have to figure something out.
