00:00Hey, it's People in 10. This one had us doing a double take. So that's Amanda Seyfried wearing
00:09the exact same outfit as Julia Roberts at the Venice Film Festival. Not just the same look,
00:14literally the same threads. Here's the story. So they share a stylist, Elizabeth Stewart,
00:19and when Elizabeth posted Julia at the photo call for her new film, After the Hunt,
00:24Amanda noticed and begged to wear the outfit for her own photo call three days later.
00:28And voila! I guess imitation really is the greatest form of flattery.
00:35And Amanda's co-star, Louis Pullman, is making headlines off the carpet. He was spotted out
00:39and about in the city of Canals, packing on the PDA with his girlfriend, Kaya Gerber.
00:44Hours before that rendezvous, they were smooching at the festival too. These two can't keep their
00:49hands off each other. Now they first sparked dating rumors back in January, with the source at the time
00:54calling them a cute and very low-key couple. They've already got approval from Kaya's parents
00:59too. That's amore. Christine Brown from Sister Wives knows what it's like for private family
01:06matters to become public conversation. But there are some things she's kept to herself until now.
01:11Let's find out more.
01:12Hey, Mako, what's going on? Hey, Dory. So Christine dropped a bombshell in her new book,
01:18and it's surprising a lot of people. Yeah, so Christine's new memoir, which is called Sister
01:23Wife, just dropped. And there is a lot to unpack from that, including details about Christine's
01:29first marriage to Cody. But she also revealed for the first time a brief addiction to oxycodone,
01:36which was never shown in her family series. She was prescribed the meds just before Maddie and
01:41Caleb's wedding in 2016, and this was after she underwent surgery for an injury. And she said the
01:48pills gave her the best high, made her feel on top of the world like she could accomplish everything.
01:53And she even threw a little shade at Cody when she was talking about all this, noting that after
01:59the surgery, when she was sent home with the meds, he just left her there to recover on her own.
02:05Girl, what happened to her sickness and in health? I'm really glad that she overcame it because
02:10addiction truly can be so devastating. I know. And, you know, she told me the reason she kept this
02:17private for so long is because it was embarrassing for her. And she didn't know if she even wanted to
02:23tell people about it. And, you know, it was also so brief. It was only about a month that she
02:29was dealing with this, but the lasting effects of it occurred for six. Well, you go, Christine.
02:34I've seen how happy she looks now. She's thriving. Well, thank you for the insight, Dory. I'll talk
02:39to you later. Anytime. Bye. Bye. Cardi B's civil trial is officially over and the verdict is in.
02:47She is not liable for assaulting a security guard. I don't mean to make light of the situation,
02:51but the internet's reaction to her testimony has been pure meme gold. And I kind of don't want it to
02:57end. After the verdict was announced, Cardi spoke her mind and seemed to be in a forgiving mood.
03:03This time around, I'm going to be nice. The next person to try to do a frivolous
03:08lawsuit against me, I'm going to countersue and I'm going to make you pay.
03:14There were some VIPs on set for season two of With Love, Megan. Archie and Lilibet pictured here,
03:21supervising their mom during filming. Look at that ginger hair. Two chips off the old block.
03:26Now, Harry and Megan are putting privacy first. So we didn't actually see their faces and we respect
03:32that, but it was still fun to see how grown up they've gotten. And speaking of growing up,
03:37Harry's childhood is coming back to haunt him, but maybe not the way you'd expect.
03:41It turns out he's not a fan of lobster, a lifelong affliction because the Royal family avoids
03:47eating shellfish due to health concerns. Megan and chef Jose Andres had a field day calling him
03:52out for it. With Jose even wondering why Megan married him in the first place. You don't know
03:56what you're missing, H. And we finally know who's getting the gig of the year, replacing Anna Wintour
04:04at Vogue. The mag announced this new head of editorial will be Chloe Mao, who's the former
04:08editor of Vogue.com. She's been with Vogue since 2011 and says she's thrilled and awed by the promotion,
04:14but she'll still have Anna as a mentor. The 75-year-old may be stepping down after 37 iconic
04:20years, but she'll stick around as global chief content officer at Condé Nast and global editorial
04:26director at Vogue. Now here's a fun fact. Chloe is the daughter of Candace Bergen, who once held
04:31the fictional editor-in-chief job at Vogue when she guest starred on Sex and the City. Art imitating life.
04:38Conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany Hensel broke their silence this week. So after they were pap carrying
04:43an infant in a car seat, not once, but twice, they reposted the pics on TikTok. Sorry, we can't
04:48show them. And simply said, blessed. So congrats, except we're still not 100% sure of the baby's
04:55theirs. The only thing we do know is that Abby married Josh Bowling back in 2021. And that news
05:01only broke last year. So much mystery. And on the topic of babies, let's switch gears to fur babies
05:07because voting is open for People's World's Cutest Rescue Dog Contest. There are 10 finalists,
05:13but only one winner can be crowned. Ooh, this is going to be a rough one. You have until September
05:1815th to make your voice heard. So vote, vote, vote. Charlie Sheen is telling his side of the story.
05:25All of it. The former playboy who says he's now eight years sober has a new memoir and a documentary
05:31where he reflects on how it's a miracle he's even still alive after years of partying and addiction.
05:37And while he's made amends with almost everyone from his past, forgiving himself has been harder.
05:41Here's what he told us. I still get what I call the shame shivers. These are the moments that hit me
05:47of the heinous memories and choices and consequences. But Charlie knows it's a process. As he puts it,
05:53forgiveness is still an evolving thing.
05:56It should have been all love at the U.S. Open. Tennis pun. But it was the opposite when an adult
06:02seemingly stole an autographed hat right out from under a young kid. That man is finally speaking out.
06:07After facing brutal criticism from the entire internet over his actions. At first, he had the
06:13nerve to say he did nothing wrong. But now he's finally apologizing, calling it a needed lesson
06:18in humility. The player who signed the hat, Camille Myshak, later found out what happened and went the
06:23extra mile to make it right. Not only did he meet the kid, but he came with another autographed hat
06:29and even posed for pictures. Now that's a class act.
06:33Now it's to sit down with Michael Wedgley and Cody DePablo. Hey, you two.
06:38Fans have obviously loved NCIS for decades, but the love story between you two is what keeps us up
06:43at night. Tell everyone where we're picking up with Tony and Ziva. Is it hot and heavy from the get-go?
06:48We get Tony and Ziva right out of the gate. We're going to get chef's kiss. We're going to get some
06:56skin on skin. Oh. Oh. Hello. Is this on? Oh my. Oh my. We can tell they've grown since the last
07:05time we saw them. Ziva is even going to therapy. How are they really doing with work-life balance
07:10these days? When the season begins, I think they're trying to co-parent. And I think life is sort of like
07:16she's been doing therapy and she's trying to get life together. And it's really about trying to,
07:22you know, determine who framed us, try to get Tali safe. The characters have to work together.
07:30They have to make it work. And that's when you sort of see Tony and Ziva start to fall back into,
07:38whoa, old, old feels.
07:40Tali couldn't ask for a better mother. And I couldn't ask for a better.
07:44Safe house roomie. And how much do you two relate in real life?
07:50I'm not a very good actor. So the problem that I have is something it took me over a decade to
07:58figure out. When this young lady walked into the show, I had been on a little training exercise with
08:05my great benefactor and mentor, Don Bellisario, and also Mark Harmon, helping me become better.
08:12It wasn't really until I worked with Cody that I felt like I opened up a part of myself and trusted
08:18myself to go into places that I'd never really gone before. I'd never been able to be angry before.
08:25I'd never been able to be convincingly smitten or everything was about deflecting for Michael and
08:32also Tony Donozo. So I think that that's the great gift of Tony and Ziva for me is that not just
08:41becoming more nuanced as an actor, but also getting to tell these great stories.
08:48Cody, your representation of an Israeli Jewish character has become beloved by fans,
08:54but you actually don't come from that background in real life.
08:56What work did you do to prepare to really get it right?
09:00By the time I had booked the part, they switched everything. And then they gave me this sort of
09:08magical actor's nightmare moment, which is they said, oh, great. And you're shooting in 48 hours.
09:13And the first scene you're going to start with is a monologue in Hebrew. The kind of actor that
09:19you've certainly been trained to be, you know, you do a lot of, you do a lot of research, you do,
09:25or, you know, you study where you come from culturally, the things that you draw, you know,
09:30I'm Latin, so I could draw from my own culture. How do I take from this? How do I put it into?
09:35And the great, the great thing about the Jewish community that, you know, I've, I have a lot of
09:41really great friends that are, that are Jewish, is that they're very much like the Latins in the sense
09:46that they're very sort of like family oriented and they love their food. And they're, so I felt
09:51like, oh, okay, well, I could do this. I think I didn't sleep for, God, 48 hours leading to my
09:57first day of work because I wanted to somehow, uh, you know, honor that part of the character as much
10:04as I could. We know you decided against an intimacy coordinator this season. We love the trust between
10:10you two on and off screen. How important is it for actors to advocate for themselves on set?
10:15Michael and I have been working for a long time and, you know, we've got something that
10:20was forged in fire. I always say, because we, we certainly met, we were very different people.
10:26We worked through things at times, like, you know, like real friendships happen. You know,
10:33you've had a friend for a really, really long time. You're going to go through the ups and downs
10:37of life and you're going to have to surf it, you know? And in that way, I felt like that he had
10:43earned my trust and I had earned his trust. Michael and I watched the show subsequently a
10:48couple of months later, and we both kind of looked at each other. We're like, that's beautiful.
10:52Okay. We're going to put 10 seconds on the clock. Tell everyone why they should check
10:55out NCIS Tony and Ziva. Ready? Go. For me, it was very healing because I, I got to go back to a
11:04character that I adore, uh, working with my friend that I adore. I think it's a love letter to the fans
11:12and adventurous. Michael and Cody, thank you so much for stopping by today. Thank you so much.
