00:00This is the posher cooking robot.
00:02And apparently, if I select a meal,
00:04so paneer, teka, masala,
00:05I can customize it to my taste preferences,
00:07so very spicy.
00:08If I hit start cooking,
00:10this is going to do everything for me.
00:13Whoa!
00:14It's flinging in the main ingredients
00:15as and when they're needed.
00:16The pan here is going to cook the food,
00:18and this top section will even drizzle in the water and oil
00:21and sprinkle in the spices and salt at the perfect times
00:23using a camera that is watching the meal come together
00:26and using AI to understand what it's looking at.
00:28So, let's come back later to find out
00:30if I'm ever going to need to cook anything again.
00:33I have just spent $8,000
00:35buying the laziest tech on the internet
00:37to find out just how much effort it's possible
00:39to save ourselves.
00:40Gadgets that cook for you,
00:41but also gadgets that clean for you,
00:42iron your clothes for you,
00:43change your bins for you,
00:44make your bed for you,
00:45and even ones that blow for you.
00:48I'm talking about the Nekojita Fufu,
00:50a robotic cat that blows on your food and drinks
00:53to pull them down.
00:54So, tea goes into these two glasses,
00:56and now both of these are at 7.
00:5872.2 degrees C right now.
01:00Oh, that's hot!
01:01You get a Fufu.
01:02That's actually quite good design.
01:03The cat organically fastens itself
01:05around the rim of your cup.
01:07So, let's see how much of a difference it makes.
01:08So, it's trying to mimic the way
01:10that a human blows on their food
01:11by using a small fan on the inside
01:13that comes on and off at random intervals.
01:15Gotta say, the thing is adorable,
01:16but I'm still astounded that it has raised
01:19over $100,000 on Kickstarter.
01:21That there are thousands of people
01:22who actually want to pay
01:23for a whole separate gadget that they have to store somewhere
01:26to make sure they charge after every 60 minutes of use,
01:28all to perform a role that is very rarely needed,
01:31and even when it is, could also be achieved
01:33by just waiting for another 90 seconds.
01:36Okay, it's been five minutes,
01:37and there is less than a four degrees difference between the two.
01:41So, on the effort-saved scale,
01:43Fufu blows 10%, if that.
01:47Then how about spending $100 on the couch console
01:50to combat the tiresome hassle of leaning forward?
01:54So, this is designed to keep all the stuff
01:55that you might want to have with you
01:56while you're on the couch organized,
01:58but with one extra special feature,
02:01a self-balancing gimbal cup holder.
02:04So, it's using some sort of metal counterweight at the bottom
02:06to keep your drink upright even if you rotate the tray.
02:09To up the stakes here, I should probably open the drinks.
02:12Sparkling water.
02:15Oh yeah, that works great.
02:17Normal-sized drinks can.
02:19Yeah, just about fits.
02:21I don't love the push you have to do
02:22every time you want to put it back.
02:24Oh, I have a tea from earlier.
02:26Okay, that's too girthy.
02:28But that's not the only thing it does.
02:29It is also modular.
02:32So, for example, this is a phone holder
02:34and a tray for your remotes,
02:35which you can also add an anti-slip mat to.
02:38To be fair, it does actually keep your remote
02:40just as planted as your drink.
02:42Then flip the thing over.
02:44It's an armrest.
02:45Or let's say I don't fully finish my snacks one evening
02:49and this spacer over here becomes your lid, kind of.
02:53It's not very well-fitting, to be honest.
02:55The strangest thing, though, has to be this USB-C port,
02:57which means if you've got a power bank,
02:59you can put it into this compartment
03:00and use another USB-C cable
03:02to then power your phone via the console.
03:05But that just feels like such a clunky way
03:07to manage the battery of your phone
03:09that still doesn't even save you
03:10having to have a cable trailing around.
03:11So would I keep this on my couch?
03:13No, definitely not.
03:15It just feels so over-engineered.
03:17Like, I'd way rather just have
03:18a small drinks table like this,
03:20because you can keep anything on there with no restriction.
03:22I'd way rather eat crisps right from the packet
03:24as opposed to measuring out a small portion into this tray
03:27and then washing the tray every time I wanna change crisps.
03:30So very little effort saved, all things considered.
03:33Let's quickly check how our baneer is doing.
03:35Oh, wow.
03:36This is so cool.
03:38So the robot is taking a snapshot of the pan
03:40every 40 or so seconds
03:42that I can remotely check from my phone.
03:44It's actually become a curry already.
03:46Early lunch is fine with me.
03:48Maybe you can relate to this.
03:49I mean, just as equally, maybe not.
03:51But for me, ironing has become such a time-consuming task
03:55that I even specifically try to buy clothes
03:57just because they require less of them.
03:59But that is where the shirt butler
04:01is apparently about to change things.
04:03A re-imagining of the ironing concept
04:05that is falling apart as we speak.
04:08Oh, goodness.
04:09Not one of my smooth unboxings.
04:11But here, instead of putting the iron onto your clothes,
04:15you put your clothes onto the iron,
04:16which is actually one of two different balloons.
04:19So you'd use this one to iron your trousers or pants.
04:24Oh, my God.
04:25Actually looks ridiculous.
04:26I also feel like if someone saw this happening
04:28from the window, it would just look
04:29like I'm trying to drown someone.
04:34And then this one with your shirts,
04:36which ironically looks like it needs an iron.
04:39So this is about as creased as a t-shirt gets.
04:42So you essentially dress your balloon,
04:44which to be fair is not as significant
04:46of a chore as it sounds.
04:47You then clip the pegs into the corners of your garment
04:50and go.
04:51So this is using hot air tension technology,
04:54which is effectively hot air plus the stretch
04:56created by the balloon.
04:58OK, it's been 10 minutes and that is actually looking
05:02kind of promising.
05:03You can still see some creases.
05:04It's not flawless.
05:06But it has done about 50% of the ironing for us.
05:09And I commend the innovation.
05:12So I have just made some hot dogs for lunch.
05:14Smells absolutely divine.
05:16But first, and easily the worst part of any barbecue,
05:19is the cleanup.
05:20Dealing with this is one of the few tasks
05:23that I would consider worse than ironing.
05:24And so I am seriously interested in what the lazy gods
05:28have blessed us with this time, the GrillBot 3.0,
05:31a robot with wheels made out of brushes.
05:33So it should be as simple as placing this on the grill,
05:36pressing that to turn it on.
05:37You set the amount of time that you want it to clean for.
05:39So let's do the full 30 minutes.
05:42Oh my God, that was fast.
05:43It doesn't look like it's using any cameras
05:45or external sensors.
05:46And I'm pretty sure if you don't close the lid
05:48on most barbecues, it will just brush its way
05:51right off the edges.
05:51But it will, apparently, notify me when it's done.
05:55The website doesn't actually say how,
05:56which is slightly alarming, but I guess we'll find out.
06:00That was one satisfying sausage.
06:03And now we've had it, why not throw the trash
06:05into the laziest person trash can in the world?
06:08From the company who calls themselves Air Deer,
06:10for some reason.
06:12Okay, so it's got pretty responsive automatic lid opening,
06:15which is not a unique feature,
06:17but I have it on my bin and I use it all the time.
06:19Okay, let's try the flagship feature of this thing.
06:22So hold this button down.
06:26And so this is now a completely top to bottom
06:31sealed trash bag.
06:32It's sealed on that end and it's sealed on that end.
06:35So I never have to even look at my trash.
06:37I can actually smell the smoke from the heat sealing
06:40that it's using on this bag.
06:41Oh, and then now it should be replacing this bag
06:45with a brand new bag ready to use.
06:48That's insane.
06:49So it's actually using fans at the base of the trash can
06:52to pull the new bag into position
06:54so that it's completely filling the container.
06:57This does kind of have it all.
06:58It's battery powered, so you can put it anywhere.
07:01The battery itself lasts for up to 180 days on a charge.
07:04The bin refills here are 20 bins in one bag.
07:07So that's gonna last you just as long,
07:09if not longer than the battery.
07:11You know what, screw it, 90% effort saved.
07:14Where have you been all my life?
07:18You know, there was a day when sitting down
07:20and reading a book was considered a lazy day.
07:22Then we got e-readers which can do our page turning for us
07:25and can store an entire library's worth of content
07:28in your handbag.
07:28And now we don't even have to hold anything
07:31because the sole glasses are supposedly
07:34the world's first wearable e-reader.
07:36Let's try it.
07:37Oh wow, the image feels massive.
07:41This is the cinema style reading experience.
07:44And the very interesting thing about this compared to,
07:47well actually, any other headset I've ever worn
07:49is that these are e-ink displays
07:51which are just lit from the sides
07:52with these soft warm white LEDs.
07:55It's a little bit strange because in theory,
07:57that should make it really low eye strain.
07:59I think it's the fact that those displays
08:00are actually sitting like two centimeters
08:02from your eyeballs that isn't achieving that goal.
08:05My eyes would be more at rest
08:07if I was holding an e-reader say here.
08:09So can you feasibly use this
08:11while lying in bed right before you sleep?
08:14I mean, this feels like what it was designed for.
08:15You just hold this very strangely shaped remote
08:18in your hand and use that to control everything.
08:20Gotta say, not my favorite remote.
08:23It's like the fact that you can't see it
08:24means that you have to feel your way around it.
08:26So the buttons have to be very clearly separated
08:29and they're not.
08:31So it's very easy to press the wrong thing.
08:33And also like a surprising amount of effort to press.
08:35Actually, the bigger thing is just resolution.
08:38Like each display in front of your eyes
08:39is 256 pixels by 256,
08:42which sounds like a lot for how small the screens are.
08:45But the total resolution is then far, far lower
08:48than like a high-end Kindle.
08:50And you can kind of see it on the E's and the Y's.
08:52The letters are not super well defined.
08:54And that's also limiting how many words
08:56you can fit on the page at once.
08:58So you're actually going to have to be turning pages
09:00like three times as often with this.
09:02Okay, but this is where the soul glasses
09:04truly separate themselves from any other e-reader.
09:06You can ask them questions about anything you're reading
09:09and it'll use AI to give you the answer.
09:11So it pulls open a whole load of different pre-made questions
09:14and then you select one of them, I guess.
09:17Okay, then you have to select
09:18which pages of the book you're referring to.
09:20Oh God, this is like the clunkiest form of AI
09:24that probably exists in 2025.
09:26There is no way that people are using these features
09:29on a regular basis.
09:30The only other thing is this autopilot mode.
09:32Oh, that is cool.
09:35So it's shading out line by line to make sure
09:38that I'm only paying attention to the sentence that needs to be.
09:40So it's training me to read faster
09:42by making the old sentences that are done disappear.
09:44Oh, and then it also turns the pages for you.
09:46That is kind of nice.
09:47It means I don't have to deal with this fricking remote.
09:49I got to say a face mounted e-reader
09:52with a tool assisted speed run mode was not high
09:55on my bingo card for this year.
09:56I don't think overall that makes much sense at all
09:59for most people.
10:01Apparently our paneer is done.
10:02Oh my God, that's actually bonkers to think that
10:05the last time I saw this,
10:07it was just a couple of ingredients and containers.
10:09And now it actually looks exactly like the picture.
10:12I had a certain expectation in my mind
10:13of what would happen when I left a robot
10:15completely unattended to cook my meal for me.
10:17And this is not that.
10:20Oh, wow.
10:21That is restaurant quality paneer.
10:23The paneer feels like it's cooked perfectly.
10:25It's just the right level of soft.
10:26Considering this is max spiciness is actually quite mild,
10:29but just enough that it makes your mouth water.
10:30And the sauce has like a little bit too much cream
10:32for an average home cooked meal,
10:34but makes it taste damn good.
10:35Are you happy with your paneer tikka masala?
10:37Yeah, five stars for the meal itself.
10:39But as impressive as that all is,
10:41would I actually buy one of these machines?
10:43Probably not.
10:46It's very expensive.
10:47Plus there is an extra subscription cost
10:49if you want more than the basic 50 recipes.
10:51And in the future, that subscription
10:53will also let you import ones from the internet,
10:55which is, I mean, very cool that it can do that.
10:57But then why would that feature need to be paywalled?
11:00But I think the main thing here is the thing
11:03that really takes up the majority of your time
11:05when you're cooking is the buying of all the ingredients,
11:07the prepping and the chopping of all of them,
11:09and then the washing up afterwards.
11:11And this doesn't really save on any of those.
11:13It's actually kind of doing the one somewhat fun part
11:16of cooking, but leaving all the boring jobs to you.
11:18What I'm hoping is that they can find a way
11:20to offer a higher tier of subscription,
11:22but that also includes all of the pre-measured out
11:25portions of ingredients.
11:26Drop into these containers and just let the robot handle
11:30your entire cooking for the week.
11:31The robot is not for me,
11:32but it does feel like the smartest iteration
11:35of robot does some cooking-related task for human
11:38that I've ever seen.
11:39Ah, so that's lunch number two down.
11:42Now we just need some dessert.
11:43And providing that is the Ninja Swirl,
11:45the company's upgraded ice cream machine
11:47that can apparently turn anything into soft serve.
11:52Oh, it's a little more top heavy than I was expecting.
11:56So the main event here is the creamerizer,
11:59which sounds about one step away
12:01from being a Dr. Doofenshmirtz invention.
12:03But it's essentially just these rotating paddles
12:05that continuously aerate your frozen mixture,
12:08which is how it's apparently going to turn
12:10this block of ice looking thing
12:12into smooth, creamy soft serve.
12:14So one thing that I will say about this,
12:16I constantly see these machines being shown in TikToks,
12:19like my two ingredient ice cream
12:21that takes 30 seconds to make,
12:23but it's not that simple.
12:24You first got to blend your ingredients.
12:26I've gone for literally just banana and milk for mine.
12:28Then you've got to freeze it all.
12:29And you have to do this the night before,
12:31which is, I guess, why mine's gone a little bit browner
12:34than I'd like for a banana ice cream.
12:35I guess the banana doesn't freeze instantly,
12:37so it's going to oxidize.
12:38And then you've got to creamerize that frozen mixture.
12:42It does sound nice, though,
12:43clicking it all into place.
12:47And then this in itself is also a multi-step process
12:49that takes about four minutes.
12:53Now you take out the container,
12:55you attach the other dispensing lid,
12:57you mount it onto this entirely separate part of the machine.
13:00Nozzle goes to open.
13:02And then finally, ice cream.
13:04So it's essentially using a press
13:06to force the ice cream out the nozzle.
13:08Look at that, though.
13:11What?
13:12I can't quite believe that it's achieved this level of texture
13:16with the two ingredients that I put into it.
13:19Yeah, that's kind of insane.
13:21It's just banana milk.
13:22But it's smooth, it's creamy, it's not very icy,
13:26which I expected it to be.
13:27This one really tears me up,
13:28because that outcome is absolutely unparalleled.
13:32The effort required to achieve the outcome is so high
13:34that I can't see myself using it on a regular basis.
13:37That would have to be for at least four people
13:40for it to be worth all of this washing up and pre-prep.
13:42So I kind of rate this product.
13:45Plus it can do sorbets, it can do milkshakes,
13:47and it can do mix-ins, so you could have nuts sprinkled in
13:50that it specifically mixes and not pulverizes.
13:52But it's not a lazy product.
13:54It's actually kind of the opposite.
13:56So much work has to go into it.
13:58Ah!
14:02What if you get ice cream on your window?
14:04So let's create two zones here.
14:05So the top area, I'm gonna cover in smudges.
14:08Think of this like level one.
14:10Okay, I promise, I put butter on my hands before I did this.
14:12Just so you don't think I'm some sort of grease monster.
14:15And then the bottom is level two.
14:17When you're in too deep.
14:19And it's all to find out if the $600 Ecovacs W2 Omni can save us.
14:24This is meant to be the robot for cleaning your windows for you.
14:28And I've got to say, it is looking promising.
14:31They really have thought of a clever way
14:33of keeping everything together.
14:34So like, for example, this is the robot.
14:36Sits inside this suitcase, and when you want to use it,
14:39just hold it against a window, and it suctions itself to it.
14:42With apparently eight different hardware-based
14:45fall protection measures,
14:46then that's connected to the suitcase via a cable that can coil itself inside
14:50to keep it tidy and untangled.
14:51Then there's also a mains plug that you can keep permanently inside of here.
14:55And a battery for 110 minutes of cleaning when you're away from a power source.
14:59Oh, look.
15:00So you can see the first thing it does is goes right into the top corner
15:03so that it can methodically work its way down.
15:06Oh.
15:07Oh wait, that's the robot.
15:08The alarm's going off.
15:10So that's how it notifies you.
15:12Elegant.
15:13But also notice, the camera I'm using, the Insta360 X5, our sponsor,
15:17is the only reason that I can be standing here recording me talking about this product,
15:21while making sure that I miss absolutely nothing when it comes to the window cleaner over there,
15:25while keeping both of my hands completely free, so that I can actually pick the thing up.
15:29while eliminating its own invisible selfie stick from the shot, so the thing just looks like it's floating.
15:35As for how well this is cleaned, by the way, I would say pretty well.
15:39It's like the entire top layer has been scrubbed very thoroughly,
15:43but it hasn't done a very good job when it comes to the sides.
15:46It kind of feels like I hired someone from Fiverr to do the cleaning.
15:49This is the result I would expect.
15:51It's definitely saved me some time.
15:52And it's great that you can just pop these brushes straight into the dishwasher,
15:55but there is still work to be done here before you can just leave this.
15:57Now we're back on this side, just as the window cleaner is approaching level two.
16:01This camera truly does allow me to be the laziest version of myself.
16:05And even if the thing gets taken out while you're trying a particularly risky shot, it doesn't matter.
16:09You can just swap the lenses out yourself in about 60 seconds,
16:13without needing to send it in for repair.
16:15So link below to get yours.
16:16With the first 30 orders also getting an extra 1TB of cloud storage for free,
16:20an extra 5% discount, and a free dual-lens replacement kit.
16:25Oh my god.
16:27What?
16:27That's like the cleanest this window has ever been.
16:29That I was not expecting.
16:30So level one, it has absolutely flown past.
16:33Level two, it's doing a lot more smearing.
16:36So it's got a three-nozzle wide-angle atomization spray
16:39that's meant to dissolve dirt on your window before it mops it over.
16:42It's also really cool how it gets right into the edges and the corners.
16:45I guess that's the benefit of them making it a square.
16:48So I would genuinely say, to my surprise, 80% effort saved.
16:53It's absolutely impeccable when it comes to the lighter grease.
16:56And it's just the heavier stuff that it's going to need a bit of help with.
16:58But then, how often do you fall into your window with ice cream?
17:02The thing that's surprising the most about this video is,
17:05someone has tried to come up with a solution for every single chore.
17:08But this has to be the most over-engineered one to exist.
17:12This is the $1,439 smart duvet that makes your bed for you.
17:19Why does the control box look like an Xbox Kinect?
17:22So you set this box up at the base of your bed.
17:24And this system serves two purposes.
17:28One is a very similar ability to the eight sleep beds,
17:31which can heat and cool each side individually.
17:33But instead of pumping temperature-controlled water around the bed,
17:36this pumps air.
17:38So I've set this side, for example, to its highest possible temperature.
17:41I mean, it's fine.
17:44It feels a little on the warm side.
17:46And this is the cold side.
17:48Okay, you can feel the difference.
17:51But definitely far less of a temperature range than eight sleep.
17:54It's about a seven degree Celsius max difference between the two sides.
17:58Eight sleep can do 30.
18:00They do also say that just the action of sending air into your bed oxygenates it,
18:04which reduces the irritation on your skin caused by sweat,
18:07because the humidity is lower.
18:08And then to top the whole thing off,
18:10the unit even has ambient lighting,
18:12which is like proper 16 million colors, the whole shebang,
18:15and even aromatherapy.
18:17So you take this filter out of the back of the unit,
18:20and then by soaking this foam in the oil of your choice,
18:22it'll effectively use the fans it already has on the inside
18:25to blow through it and spread that scent.
18:27It's very much giving me jack of all trades vibes.
18:30But this is what we're really here for.
18:32Bed making start.
18:34I don't really know what to expect it.
18:36Oh, it's inflating.
18:37This is actually really clever how it works.
18:38They've got a thin inflatable sheet that goes across the entire duvet.
18:42So by pumping air into that inflatable sheet, it effectively stretches the rest of the duvet
18:47so it has to conform to its full shape, which is flat.
18:51Okay, this is probably the single coolest automation we've seen so far.
18:55Oh, my God.
18:56No, that is actually hotel quality finish.
18:59And then once it's reached this finished state,
19:01it will just take the air out again so it settles.
19:03It's a very left field solution to the problem.
19:06But my God, is that clever.
19:08So to be very clear, this is not an eight sleep killer.
19:12The temperature control is not as good.
19:13The product itself doesn't feel as high quality.
19:16But the one thing that it is designed to do differently, it does so well,
19:20I would still give it a 50% rating.
19:23But there is one final pillar of laziness that we haven't yet covered.
19:27It's like the single most obvious one.
19:29I have been standing for like 50% of this video.
19:33Unacceptable.
19:34But no more because this is the Chairless Chair 2.0.
19:37Yes, over $2,500 to be able to sit on command.
19:43It's actually not as heavy as it looks.
19:45The whole thing is like three kilograms.
19:47So strap myself in at the waist, right thigh, left thigh.
19:51But this is the cool bit.
19:52Now the whole thing snaps into my shoes and it really looks like
19:56I should be able to kick a brick wall down with this.
19:58But what I can really do.
20:05Yes, please.
20:07So it's not flawless.
20:08You kind of have to treat it with a little bit of care.
20:10You kind of want to make sure both legs are fully extended
20:13before you put your weight on the thing.
20:14But if you do that, it's actually still not very comfortable.
20:18I'm like 70% resting, but 30% tensing my core as hard as I can
20:23so I don't tip over backwards again.
20:24And yeah, it's kind of cool how spontaneous you can be with the thing.
20:27Like now I'm walking.
20:28I can go this way.
20:29I can decide to sit again.
20:31I just can't wrap my head around why it costs as much as it does,
20:35considering what it actually is when you break it down.
20:37As a general concept, though, yeah, I could get used to this life.
20:43Subscribe so that I can carry on sitting here.
20:47And now for the Hall of Fame winner.
20:50Oh, do you know what?
20:50It's not going to fit on the shelves and we actually do need a bin anyway.
20:56OK, tell you what, you can actually do one better than Hall of Fame.
21:00You can become useful.
21:03Well played, air dear.
21:05Well played.
21:06Well played.
21:07Not until catch.
21:09Well played.
21:11Well played.
21:12We worked.
21:15Well played.
21:15You.
21:16I played.
21:16Maybe.
21:16Well played.
21:18Well played.
21:19You can서도 manage everything and then they are a foot on the ground.
21:21I wish you could put them sand there.
21:22And now I had to come here.
21:24She was good.
