A bus driver has been taken to hospital and several passengers and pedestrians injured after a bus mounted the pavement near London Victoria station on Thursday morning.Emergency services were called to Victoria Street at around 8.20am following reports of a collision involving the vehicle and multiple pedestrians.

00:04This is the scene of a bus crash in the city centre in central London,
00:08just close to Victoria Railway Station, a key terminus,
00:11and also a very busy transit hub for the London Underground.

00:16Incident took place on Victoria Street itself at around 8.20 this morning.
00:22Multiple units from the London Ambulance Service dispatched to the scene,
00:26including London's Air Ambulance.
00:28The Metropolitan Police say that members of the public,
00:31including passengers and also pedestrians, taken to hospital.
00:36I have no update on the severity of any injuries.
00:39I have no update on the condition of any of those individuals,
00:42and I can't tell you the exact number either.
00:45We do know, however, the driver has been taken to hospital too.
00:49We understand there are zero fatalities at this time.
00:52We understand there are no arrests as well at this time.
