The big cat can be seen with a very full belly as it sits high in a tree, taking a rest. The moment was caught on camera by Pareet Shah, 46, from Kenya, who filmed the footage in The Mara Triangle, Great Maasai Mara, Kenya. Pareet said: “We were on a game drive in the Mara Triangle in Kenya, when from afar, our guide spotted something hanging from atop a tree. “Upon coming closer, we first couldn't believe our eyes as we had never seen a male leopard with such a big tummy. “At first, I thought it was a pregnant female in the tree, but then, when I looked under, it confirmed that I had thought wrong. “Most leopards in the Maasai Mara are given names, and we soon found out this one’s name was Olarro. “In the local language, Maa, Olarro means ‘beautiful’. “We spent about 3 hours with him watching him feed on a Thomson’s gazelle in the tree and then napping after that. “We were just hooked onto his size and wondering how he would come down the tree after eating so much!” ENDS
